Story
Oreo is a very chill cat and is good with strangers. You put a blanket on you and he’ll come and cuddle up right away. He loves looking out windows and occasionally going outside. He was a great addition to our family before having our child. Now we can’t give him the attention and love he needs and we also can’t afford what he needs as well.

Hi my name is Charm. I think my name speaks for itself when I say I will charm you and win your heart. I love people and spend most of my time snuggling the staff. I can't wait to find my fur-ever home where I can spoil my people with lots of love. Older children due to overstimulation behaviours.***NOTE*** Please remember that animals are coming back from foster care to the centres for their meet and greets. *** I'm a very special kitty looking for a very special home! It was found that I have a heart murmur. But that won't stop my zest for life and cuddles! To help me find my forever home my adoption fee has been reduced by 25% ***Hi everyone, my name is Simba! I am one of the most extraverted kittens you'll ever meet. I seriously love to play! But more than anything, I just want to be wherever you are. I will always try and get you to play with me, but if you are tired and want to relax, I can be the snuggliest little bug with you. I get along really well with the dog in my foster home! I have lots of energy, and I would love a home where I can have a friend to play with. If you're looking for a new playmate, fill out an adoption application for me today! ***NOTE*** Please remember that animals are coming back from foster care to the centres for their meet and greets. Story
Tigger is a sweet boy looking for his new home. You may find him hiding when you first arrive, but he will come out of his cozy bed to spend time with visitors. He previously lived with other cats, but did not get along so well so he would love to be the only cat in the home (or may be okay with other laid back cats in the home that Tigger could coexist with). His previous hoomans noted that he was very loving, and would lounge just about anywhere! He also enjoyed playing with toys and using his scratching posts. From his foster - Tigger has been very friendly and loves following people around. He especially like to nudge people with his little head to get attention and he would show you his belly when you start patting him!I have two other cats at home, and Tigger has been friendly with them. He was a little nervous or protective at first introduction, but after couple days they can stay together with no problem, but he doesn't interact much with other cats. I know his current bio says he did not like other cats in the same household, but maybe he just needed more introduction or time.***NOTE*** Please remember that animals are coming back from foster care to the centres for their meet and greets. Story
These siblings were born approximately June 2/21. Chloe and Colby are very sweet kittens. They were rescued from an outdoor situation where they were probably born to an outdoor stray and the resident who found them called for some help to rescue them. They are still very shy of people in their foster home but will enjoy pets while eating. It may take some time for their new family to gain their trust but we feel in time they will settle down. They will come and eat close to the humans and they do enjoy the company of the resident cat. They are getting used to the dog slowly. They will definitely need a patient home most likely a quiet home would be best for these two. Please apply if interested in this pair. They would probably love a quiet home with another calm cat to show them the ropes. Chloe and Colby is available for adoption through Grand River All Breed Rescue. The adoption donation is $325 per cat. All of our cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated as part of their adoption. If you’d like to adopt, please fill out an application. You can also reach us by email at GrandRiverRescue@hotmail.com.

Story
This sweet, 3-year-old, former momma is very inquisitive and sweet. We’re confident that this sweet girl was previously a house cat, but we think may have had some unfortunate experiences with people in the past. She may take time to adjust to meeting her new family, but once she does, she loves attention. She is very inquisitive about life, and loves watching TV! She is great with other cats as she has offered no issues with her foster’s three cats. She will make an amazing companion to an ideally slower household, or potentially a family, who is understanding of her body language and accepts that she may need time to fully trust them. Her foster is happy to teach Shiloh’s new family her body language cues to set everyone up for success.. Shiloh is available for adoption through Grand River All Breed Rescue. The adoption donation is $325 per cat. All of our cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated as part of their adoption. If you’d like to adopt, please fill out an application. Story
Dahlia is the mama of the four kittens. She is approximately 1 to 2 years old. She came terrified, unsure how to behave around people but that changed when she learned she was getting the help she needed and her sweet personality bloomed. She has a lovely voice ranging from soft meows, chirps, and trills to let you know she is very happy. Dahlia yearns for attention and loves to weave around your legs, asking for pets on her head and along her back. She is most content when all four feet are on a solid surface. Although Dahlia is not fond of being held or snuggled, she may come to accept in the future that these things are nice too! Dahlia is very good at using her litter box! In fact, she does such a good job at covering her mess that it is recommended that she have a large or covered litter box as she tends to kick litter further than she needs to. Dahlia usually minds her own business and is happy to sleep in a quiet corner away from other pets, so should there be other pets in her new home, they should be introduced slowly and with absolute patience. Dahlia’s kittens are also available for adoption: Teddy, Linus, Percy, and Molly. Each kitten is available for adoption through Grand River All Breed Rescue. The adoption donation is $325 per cat. All of our cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated as part of their adoption. If you’d like to adopt, please fill out an application. Story
Milo is a 5 month old tabby (as of August 8) who loves to cuddle and is generally pretty chill. He mostly wants to spend time with his human, and will go berserk for string toys. Millie is a 4 month old tabby (as of August 8) with a white nose, and she's cute as a button. She likes to stalk and pounce on her friend Milo and explore any and all surfaces. We would like this pair to be adopted together if possible. We will look for best match. Each kitten is available for adoption through Grand River All Breed Rescue. Story
This is Junie. She is a young (about 18 months) friendly cat. She is black and white marking on her face that look like little tear drops and a white ring around her black tail. She was found pregnant, living in the backyard of a friend of the rescue. She had 4 beautiful kittens (including Juno and Skye). She was a very good mom and now it’s her turn to find a loving home. She is very friendly and loves to play. She is still a kitten at heart. She gets along with her foster siblings but tends to prefer the company of the boys. She would be happiest in a home with another cat and lots of people to give her the attention she deserves. Junie is available for adoption through Grand River All Breed Rescue. The adoption donation is $325 per cat. All of our cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated as part of their adoption. If you’d like to adopt, please fill out an application.
