Story
Mimi is a good cat, very calm, loves to sleep and scratches. She is 12 years old and is not getting g used to the baby at home, plus my other cat started bullying her. And chasing her during the night. She is not enjoying her senior years that should be more peaceful than the lifestyle I can offer because of our 9 month old baby. She is easy going, doesn't complain much as long she had been fed. We love her very much, she came here all the way from west Palm Beach Florida where I found her abandoned in a parking lot. I have given her a safe loving life and she needs more calmness now than I’m able to provide.

Story
Peanut is looking for a new home with a family with other cats. She loves to play and has a lot of energy, so she is in need of an environment that will keep her enriched and busy. She is very friendly and loves a good pat, however she does not like to be held and nail trimmings are not her favorite. She will make herself heard when she is ready to play or is looking for her human. She does not have a history of aggressive behavior, but she does like to bite ankles to get her human to play. She will be the perfect addition to any family looking for a new companion!

Story
Rehoming my senior(11) cat, he is unhappy being in a home with young kids and now we have another baby on the way he would probably be happy and healthier in a slower and less chaotic home. He would need to be in a home with no kids and no dogs, ideally no cats. He is very aggressive towards dogs. He is slightly overweight and this is something we have been working on with him. He is mostly indoors but does like to lay out in the sun in our back yard, does not leave our yard though. Not overly affectionate but does rub against legs and ask for pets as well as sometimes snuggle on the sofa. Would be happy in a calm home with someone looking for an older kitty companion. No medical issues as far as we know. He will come with a cat tree and his food!

Story
Maki is three years old, a larger, playful and curious tortoiseshell. We have had her since she was a kitten and overall she has been a really good and sweet cat. This last year, though, stresses including outdoor cats fighting and our other older cat being domineering and chasing her contributed to her growing anxiety. On two occasions early this year she experienced redirected aggression and attacked feet or tried to after hearing loud, sudden noises. Since then we have separated the cats and I have successfully been working on rehabbing her, and her behavior is pretty much back to normal. Maki needs a quiet home with someone patient and experienced with behavioral problems. She may be okay with other cats too, so long as they do not have bullying tendencies and aren't too territorial. Indoor only.  Adoption fee is $80.   This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Your information will be forwarded to the owner for follow-ups and meeting arrangement.  Cat's Cradle is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue serving Oregon cats who need new homes. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the cats in our care. We invite you to become a foster parent and experience the great satisfaction of helping a cat or kitten in need.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 18, 2025, 2:45 pm

Story
Mia is about 3 years old, fixed, and vaccinated. She is an indoor cat only and fully litter box trained. She is beautiful and loving, and can sometimes be playful, but will be shy at first until she gets to know you and trust you.   The only downside to her personality is that she tends to not do too well with other cats in the home. So, a home where she is the only cat, will be perfect for her. Mia is wonderful with kids and people that she loves, but she's never been around a dog or any other kind of animal, so that is entirely unknown. The only health concern to be aware of with her, is that she is allergic to chicken. I'm hoping to find a permanent indoor home for her, where she can be as loved as she is loving.  Mia's rehoming fee is $30.  Mia lives with her caregiver in Sutherlin.   This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Story
Pawley and Miss Crys were both dumped seperately at Talking Waters in Albany and became part of a colony fed by caregivers. They are a wonderful pair of bonded, mature, very loving, clean quiet cats that would do well in a calm household environment.  They are fostered in Corvallis after being pulled from the colony.   This loving pair are playful with each other as well as to their caregiver of almost a year. Pawley acclimated quicker than Miss Crys....yet both are amazing cats with different personalities. They will be adopted together as they are totally bonded.   They do well with being indoors and outdoors....they come when called in for the night. Pawley is a big lap cat. Miss Crys is more independent.  This pair is fixed,  utd on shots regular deworming and deflea'd. Small rehoming fee of $100 for the pair as well as a home visit to ensure a good match.     This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Story
Fitz is a 10 year old black domestic shorthair. We adopted him when he was just a kitten and he's been a member of our family ever since. Unfortunately, our home has become a stressful environment now that we have two small children. He spends most of his time hiding and has become more vocal due to stress. He would do well in a quiet home without children. In the past he lived with another cat but he has shown aggression to outside cats so we think he will be best as your one-and-only kitty. Fitz lives in Portland with his family and his adoption fee is $25.  Fitz is indoor only. This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Story
This young cat showed up hungry and scared 6 months ago. I unfortunately cannot financially or mentally care for her long-term. I had always hoped to find her a good home and am doing my best to attend to her immediate needs currently. Adeline is a young female who loves face rubs, sun beam naps, and wet food treats. Prefers to lounge inside and go potty outside. She will try to hold your hand is she wants attention. She had a temporary cat friend who lived here too and they got along well but she is thriving alone too.   Mostly indoors. Rehoming fee is $75   This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM.
