Story
Bella is a beautiful and gentle kitty with a shy heart that needs time to blossom. This sweet foster girl is looking for a quiet, understanding home where she can feel safe and build trust at her own pace.At first, Bella will likely keep her distance, preferring to observe from a cozy hiding spot. Sudden movements and loud noises might send her scurrying away, but with patience, she’ll start to show little signs of trust—peeking out from her favorite hiding place, curiously watching from a distance, or even creeping closer when she thinks you’re not looking.Earning Bella’s love is a slow but deeply rewarding journey. With time, gentle voices, and soft encouragement, she will allow light pets—and one day, she might surprise you with a deep, contented purr. She may never be a lap cat, but for the right person, her quiet companionship and sweet nature will be the most special gift.Bella needs a calm, patient adopter who will let her take things at her own pace. In return, she will offer a quiet, loving presence and the joy of watching a shy kitty learn to trust. If you have a heart for helping shy cats find their confidence, Bella may be the perfect match for you!She did wonderfully with other cats and dogs in the foster home. If you are interested in meeting her we please ask that you email adoption@columbiahumane.org in order to obtain an adoption application. For more information call 503-397-4353 or email adoption@columbiahumane.orgFebruary 9, 2025, 6:06 am

Story
Meet Chez Chez is a 2 year old, DSH, orange male tabby who hops down and “chirps” when you walk thru the door. Super social, he loves people. He enjoys being brushed and petted and rubbing up against whoever visits. He adores his catnip cigar and anything catnip! Chez came from a home with too many other cats and a dog. He would do best in a home by himself or with one other friendly pet. All vetted and ready to go, to learn more contact Patricia at  dpcadams@comcast.net . February 26, 2025, 2:47 pm
