Story
This very unique looking boy is call Gremlin and he is a 6 month, 22 pound boy that will probably be 30 pounds when fully grown.  He appears to have many different breeds that certainly stretches the imagination for identifying all his relatives that came together to create his look.  We think Feist, Beagle and  Pit mix might be the major relatives lurking in the past.  He and his sister Gretchen are almost identical and really sweet pups that have lived in some rather challenging circumstances the first 6 months of life.  They are now spayed and neutered and looking for someone to give them all the best things in life that they have not had until 2/20.   He will be a small dog when fully grown and a loving temperament that begs for attention and how to learn manners in life.  He is a happy boy that meets new people well and good with other dogs that come in to his life.  We see Gremlin participating in your life as a best friend forever.  Can you be his best future?  Please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com if you are interested in this funny and happy character of a  young pup.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMarch 11, 2025, 9:45 pm

Story
Please contact Courtney Nobles (courtneyn@luckydoganimalrescue.org) for more information about this pet.small sweetie seeking safety and love! MISTY NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!    Name: Misty     Best Guess for Breed:  Feist and retriever mix   Best Guess for Age:  1 year as of March 2025       SEX:   Female   Approximate Weight:  25 lbs   Gets Along With:   Misty does well with other dogs! We haven't seen her with kids or cats but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!    Currently Living at:   DC area foster home   Special adoption considerations: Misty can be a shy gal, especially in bustling places like the city. She probably didn't have much exposure to busier urban settings before she arrived in the DC area, and having a confident resident dog along on walks will help. She does very well in quieter environments though!   All about Misty: This super sweet girl landed in the shelter through no fault of her own. She was pretty confused and shy. Then she came up to the DC area and once in foster care, showed who she really is! This is what her foster has to say about her:  'Misty is a bundle of pure furry joy!  She has not met a person or a toy that she doesn’t adore.  On our walks, when she sees a person approaching from a distance, she waits with eager anticipation for them to come near, then greets them with the enthusiasm of seeing an old friend.  She is an easy and grateful house guest.  She plays independently with her toys, but also loves it when you join in the fun.  She has been doing fabulous with house and crate training, and she is respectful of my senior dog. She’s an absolute delight to host, and her adopter will be very lucky to have her!' Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT:      The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. If you are interested in adopting, please complete the Adoption Questionnaire online   at   bit.ly/adoptaluckydog  .   Lucky Dog Animal Rescue does our best to provide accurate information about the dogs we have for adoption. That said, we cannot make any guarantees about age, breed or temperament. Thank you for contacting Lucky Dog Animal Rescue and helping to save a life!  Please visit us online at      www.luckydoganimalrescue.org   .    BE A FOSTER!!!     Fosters make it possible for Lucky Dog Animal Rescue to save and care for homeless and abandoned dogs! To learn about fostering, please contact fostering@luckydoganimalrescue.org! This bundle of cuteness came from an overcrowded shelter in Alabama. The shelter is a scary place for a little puppy, fortunately she has been rescued by K-9 Lifesavers and landed a nice foster home. Noelle is now ready to find her forever home. Could that be with you? Noelle is very sweet and great with other dogs. She can be a tad shy at first but warms up very quickly.  She will need another pup in the home to help her with her confidence.  If you are looking to add a playmate for your current dog, she would be an amazing addition!  At her young age, Noelle is in her prime for training and socialization too. If you're looking for a companion who will love you unconditionally and bring a sense of joy and companionship to your home, Noelle is the perfect choice. She's waiting to share her love and sweetness with a family that will cherish her as much as she will them. Submit an application today and change this very deserving girl's life forever! Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.           Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (at partner vet if not fixed before adoption), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets. Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit  http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/  or email our Foster Coordinator at  foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSponsor Me!    Make a  tax-deductible donation  today by visiting us at http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/donate/. Story
Ruk is an energetic, curious, and playful puppy who loves to explore and enjoy zoomies! She likes going out on walks and is incredibly friendly, always eager to meet new people and other dogs! Ruk is well on her way to being fully potty pad trained and tends to use the pad reliably, especially when it's placed inside a puppy fence. Like all puppies, she may have the occasional accident. She’s also in the midst of teething and loves to nibble and chew. After playtime, she enjoys winding down with some cuddle time. Ruk is food and treat motivated, which will be helpful in her training, though she will need more practice with basic commands. Mandatory in person transfer date: March 29th at the Petsmart in Tysons Corner between 10:00 AM-11:00 AM. All adopters must attend in order to finalize the adoption. ##2330812##

Story
Rowan (who I’ve started calling Shadow because he’s always by my side) is one of the smartest and calmest pups I’ve ever fostered. He takes everything in stride, whether it’s learning new things, meeting new people, or just relaxing nearby. He’s been spending time with me at the brewery where I work, and everyone who meets him falls in love with his gentle nature and easygoing personality. He’s the kind of dog who just fits right in, always content to be part of whatever’s going on, as long as he’s with you.   ##2330807##
