Story
Louis was given away by his original family a year or so ago. The new owner dumped him. He wandered up to someone's house in our county here in Texas > He was very thin. We took him in and to the vet. He had parasites, was a bit anemic. We put him in a foster who fattened him up. Then we got him neutered and he had to complete heartworm treatment. Now he is fit as a fiddle and looking for a forever home where there might be some cool weather! nice boy!

APPLICATION: If this dog has stolen your heart, don't wait! Please apply online now to be considered as a potential adopter. NAME, GENDER, AGE WEIGHT BREED & VIDEO DOG: GREEN JEANS GENDER: MALE DOB: 01-15-24 WEIGHT: 25 lbs BREED: Flat Coat Retriever (Comfort Dog) LOCATION: Preston CT DONATION $550.00 VIDEO: Pups Green, Red & Pink Outside Exploring on how to navigate a ramp and stairs - this was built just for rescue dogs to learn how to use stairs and a ramp Green Jeans weighed 42.2 lbs. on June 13, 2024, he is a male flat coat retriever and was the first born. He is very loving and a laid-back big boy; each day before he is put down for a nap, he is the first to snuggle right up to his human and put his right paw on her leg. He is very smart, loving and social with people and dogs. He loves the pool but just but cautious about what exactly water is all about, personal attention and companionship from his littermates and humans. His foster mom tells us that he can be independent and can take the role of a very gentle alpha when the other two pups need him to slow their play time down. At night, foster mom always takes a moment to talk to him and he rolls over for a belly run. He loves his siblings and will snuggle with his brother Red between the pen sections, comes when he is called, and he knows how to sit for food. Foster mom does think he definitely loves his people. He is trained to use the litter box and is working on his leash training. Green Jeans has a lot to offer a loving family. This guy is very gentle and enjoys his time with his humans. He is very loving, attentive, and follows foster mom all over! He is a puppy and has lots of energy, but can quickly settle down and become a very large and loving lap dog! Green Jeans is best described as a happy go lucky guy, eager to run, play and be with his siblings. He is a polite, learns quickly and a real loving little boy. If you’re looking for an easy-going family dog, then he is right for you. Nothing would be better than curling up with him at the end of the day. Flat Coat Retrievers are comfort dogs. Story
weight 38 lbs age: 8 months as of 12/11/24 adoption donation: $599     Daphne is a super sweet and gentle girl. She loves cuddles and ear scratches. Daphne is shy and a bit insecure as she has had a rough beginning. She is looking for a loving home with another dog to help her become her best self. If you have a great pup and are looking for a second Daphne may be just right for you. A good dog match for her would be a medium to high energy dog that is playful and secure to run outside and lay around inside with as they show her how to dog.      Daphne was found with her sister Hayden, emaciated and living in a culvert in a rural and remote part of northern Mississippi in an area known as a dumping ground for dogs. Despite her difficult beginning Daphne is a great dog. She loves other dogs and is great with cats. At the rescue in Mississippi she loved to splash in the plastic swimming pool! She also loves to run in the yard and prance in the leaves. Daphne is currently being fostered in a home with two dogs and a cat in New England and is ready to meet her forever family.      Daphne is fully vaccinated, spayed and micro-chipped. She doesn’t have a drop of aggression, does well with kids and is housebroken.     If you are looking for a playful second dog Daphne will make a wonderful addition to your family. Wags is a licensed 501 C3 where one woman takes care of almost 150 homeless and stray dogs many of them have expensive medical needs.. Adoption fees include transport, vaccinations, microchip, and spay or neuter. For more information on Daphne or any of our rescue dogs please email her foster parent Kerry at KerryAnneMulligan@ymail.com  January 7, 2025, 5:36 pm

MEET COLE! An amazing shelter survivor, this guy has charmed his foster mom! Cole is very sweet, wonderful on the leash, GREAT with other dogs, seems to ignore cats. This incredible dog is ready for his forever! A gorgeous, handsome lab mix, he will thrive in almost any home. Ideal home for COLE? One that loves and cares for him of course; a home committed to him forever. A home that will give this young, healthy guy daily sufficient exercise and stimulation. A home with another dog or two or three would be great, but he'll do fine as solo as well. Cole is about 3 yrs old and weighs about 89 lbs. He is utd and neutered. Interested? Have questions? Please contact reboundhounds@gmail.com and his rescue will get right back to you, thanks! COLE IS IN GREENFIELD CENTER, NY
