Story
adoption donation : $699 weight  35 lbs  Age 4 months as of 1/17        Charlotte and her siblings were dumped at a gas station in a rural part of Mississippi when they were quite young, they were starving when the Wags director  found them and took them in to the rescue. She nursed them back to health and gave them the vet care they needed and all five are now healthy and happy puppies, running and playing and snuggling together in a big puppy pile to nap.      Charlotte is so sweet! She is all tail wags and wiggles and just loves everyone she meets. She  is house trained at Wags but like any rescue may need a refresher course while she adjusts to a new home.    She is spayed, and up-to-date on his vaccines and ready for loving family of her own. We’re hoping to bring Charlotte up to the northeast next Saturday, February 8      Wags is a struggling 501(c) 3 where one woman in rural Mississippi takes care of about 150 homeless and stray dogs.  Adoption donations are the only source of funding for the rescue. Adoption fee includes the transport from Mississippi, vaccines, microchip and spay and neuter at one of the clinics we use. For more information on adopting Charlotte  or any of our many Wags dogs please email mariaeftimiades@yahoo.comtte     February 1, 2025, 9:59 pm

Story
adoption donation : $499 weight 65lbs Age approx 6 years            Sweet Sadie was the much loved dog of an older woman in Mississippi who passed away last year leaving Sadie and another dog with no place to go. They ended up at Wags and Sadie’s lifelong buddy was quickly adopted, leaving Sadie alone. Fortunately, she has made tons of friends at the rescue! She loves other dogs and her tail never stops wagging.       Sadie is such a sweet girl! She is friendly to everyone she meets, and loves to follow her Foster Mom around.  She’s good with other dogs, but she will chase cats, be forewarned! Sadie is house trained at the rescue but will likely need a refresher as she adapts to a new home.          Wags is a struggling 501(c) 3 where one woman in rural Mississippi takes care of about 150 homeless and stray dogs.  Adoption donations are the only source of funding for the rescue. Story
HAMM IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN, AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO CT ONCE ADOPTED!     Hi!! I’m the Great Hambino!! But you can call me Hamm. Guess what??? I got to go on a field trip to an adoption event today! It was so much fun. Usually I live in a place called a boarding kennel because there aren’t enough foster homes for me to live in a house. But I sure would like that! At the adoption event they said I acted like a really good boy but I don’t really understand cause it was no act- I honestly am just a good boy. I walked nice on my leash and I was friendly with the other dogs. There was a little toddler girl who was petting me and she even took my bone but I didn’t care. I liked her. I got to have a pup cup too!! It’s pretty much like ice cream and oh boy it was yummy!!! I don’t get to play a lot at the kennel and I’m pretty laid back so I’ve put on a couple extra pounds. If I could play in your yard and go for some walks, that would help me get back to a healthier weight. I like to play with other dogs! But I think I’d really like to cuddle on the couch with you in my own home and have some more of that ice cream. But I had to go back to the kennel place and now I’m a bit sad. Could you maybe foster me?? Or better yet, let me join your family?? I promise I’m a no trouble low maintenance guy. I just hope someone gives me a chance. He is completely vetted. Vetting includes spaying/neutering, microchip, rabies as well as all puppy vaccinations, and has been on preventatives. His adoption fee of $550 includes the transport to CT. We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Hamm up north to his new family.   If you have any questions, please email us at: newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com You can apply to adopt Hamm here: www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 5, 2024, 1:30 pm
