Howdy, everyone! My name is Monarch, and I'm a spirited 2 yr. old Foxhound mix with a heart full of love, rescued from South Carolina by the wonderful folks at Big Dog Ranch Rescue. They're helping me find my forever home, and I can't wait to meet the family who'll love me like the royalty I am-after all, my name is Monarch! I've got that classic hound dog personality-curious and playful-but I'm also a bit on the shy and submissive side when you first meet me. Once I warm up, you'll find that I love nothing more than cuddling up and snuggling with my favorite humans. I may have some energy for playtime, but I'm also all about those cozy moments together. Now, I should mention that I'm currently heartworm positive, but don't worry- Big Dog Ranch is taking care of my treatment, and it does not prevent me from going home and doesn't hold me back from being the loyal, loving companion you've been looking for. I'm hoping to find a home where I'll be cherished and treated like the king I truly am. Could that home be yours?

Malibu and her siblings were born at an abandoned house. At not even 24 hours old, they took a flight to us so we could take care of them! These hound doggies are full of personality and hilarious. They enjoy the outdoors very much and will play with balls, stick, leaves...anything they can find and make a game out of.Our dogs/puppies are spayed/neutered, current on vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed and are current on flea/tick prevention.Our adoption donation for our adult dogs is $200.00 and for our puppies it is $350.00. She has soft, kind eyes and a gentle nature, making her a perfect companion for anyone looking for a loving dog. About Lilly May: Temperament: Lilly May doesn't jump and isn't pushy. She's a crawl-in-your-lap kind of girl who just wants to be loved. Energy Level: While she loves to relax and snuggle, Lilly May also enjoys running and needs an area to burn off some energy. A 6ft fenced yard is ideal, as she has a knack for chasing deer and rabbits. Behavior: Occasionally, she may try to take herself on a run, so keep an eye on gates. She's improving but still needs supervision. Leash Skills: Lilly May is well-behaved on a leash and enjoys walking. She's been good for the vet and is crate trained with no accidents.
