Story
**Stevie is a Patient Paw, please ask about her reduced adoption fee and the possibility of a sleepover!**Age: 4 years oldWeight: 37.9kg / 84lbA little bit about Stevie :- Limited history with children; children should be teens and up- Unknown history with cats and other small animals; all introductions should be done slowly over a period of time- Some history of living with dog; selectively dog reactive. Potential for dog in home pending successful Dog-to-Dog introductions but is mostly dog asocialStevie’s journey hasn’t been the easiest, but we know her perfect forever home is out there. Recently adopted, she sadly found herself back at the shelter—through no fault of her own. Sometimes, life takes unexpected turns, but we’re determined to make sure her third adoption is her last. It’s impossible not to fall in love with Stevie. She has the most soulful eyes, and she knows just how to use them to melt hearts, earn extra pets, and maybe even sneak a treat or two. However, she’s carrying a little extra weight and will need a gradual weight loss plan overseen by a vet. Luckily, she loves her walks just as much as she loves snuggling up on the couch afterward.Stevie has lived with another dog before but has shown some selective reactivity, so she may do best as the only dog in her home. On walks, she’s well-mannered when passing other dogs but prefers not to make new canine friends. She has also shown some prey drive, so careful introductions would be needed with cats or small animals.Stevie has stolen the hearts of everyone at the shelter, and we know she’ll steal yours too. Will you be the one to give this incredible girl the forever home she’s been waiting for?

McGuire is available through our `Adopt From a Foster Home` program. If you are interested in scheduling a meeting, please fill out the request form here: Adopt From Foster Form. Please do not make an appointment through our online booking calendar, as they are not available to meet on site.A bit about me:- unknown history with cats; introductions should be slow and supervised- unknown history with children; all interactions should be supervised- dogs okay pending successful introductionThis dashing boy is as affectionate and sweet as much as he is playful and goofy! McGuire has loved every person he has met and been positively intrigued by each dog he has spotted while in his foster home. This house-trained boy loves nothing more than being close to his people, but also enjoys his space and is happy to take a snooze in any crevice he can find! During the day, he can be found having puppy naps on his many beds and against various items of furniture, enjoying his many toys and treats, or bird and squirrel watching through the window to pique his curiosity.McGuire may at times get excitable when his family members get home from work or during play time and become a bit jumpy and mouthy - his foster family has found that Kong toys with wet food inside or squeaky plushies are the perfect redirecting toys to get McGuire back to the perfect, calm, and kind boy that he truly is.If you are looking to add a handsome and loyal friend for life, McGuire is the perfect candidate for you and your home!

Story
*Diesel is in the process of being adopted!*Age: 5 years oldWeight: 27.6kg / 60.8lbsA little bit about Diesel:- has lived with children previously, doesn`t enjoy when they get too rowdy; all interactions should be carefully supervised by an adult- Has lived with cats before, unknown history with small animals; all introductions should be done slowly over a period of time- Has lived with dogs before; potential for another dog in home pending successful introductionMeet Diesel, a beautiful and clever German Shepherd mix looking for a loving, stable home. She arrived at the shelter through no fault of her own and has experience living with cats, dogs, and children. While she’s generally great with kids, she can get a bit overwhelmed by rowdy or rough play, so a home with older, dog-savvy children would be best.Diesel can be shy with new people, but with a little patience, she warms up and shows her sweet side. She’s a smart girl who already knows commands like sit, down, and shake a paw—and with the right treats, she’ll happily learn more! She can struggle a bit with being left alone, so she’s looking for an adopter who can provide stability and a calm environment to help her feel secure. If you’re ready to give this affectionate, intelligent pup the forever home she deserves, come meet Diesel today!

Story
We’re so excited to introduce you to Dasher, a delightful 3-year-old German Shepherd Mix with a heart full of love and a tail nub that wiggles non-stop when he’s happy! This 53lb bundle of joy has been waiting since November 21st, 2024, for his forever home, and we just know there’s a family out there who will be the perfect match for him!Dasher is an active, playful dog who loves to stay on the move. He thrives on exercise and mental stimulation, so he’d be the ideal companion for an active family that enjoys outdoor adventures like hiking, running, or even winter sports! Whether it’s playing fetch or simply running through the park, Dasher is always ready to go and will keep you entertained with his boundless energy. One of the things that makes Dasher so special is his adorable tail nub – it’s short, but it wiggles with pure joy every time he’s happy! You can’t help but smile when you see him wiggling his bum in excitement. His enthusiasm is infectious, and he’s guaranteed to bring happiness into any home. While Dasher is a fantastic dog, he would do best in an adult-only home where he can continue his growth. He’s working on greeting new people politely and would benefit from a basic manners class or a behavior consultation to help him feel even more comfortable. With a little guidance, Dasher is ready to shine! He’s already a fast learner and responds wonderfully to commands like “sit.” He also enjoys car rides and adapts well to new environments, which shows how much potential he has in the right home.Dasher is no stranger to the spotlight – he’s been featured on the news in his search for a loving family, and we know his charming personality will win the heart of anyone who sees his story. It’s heartbreaking to see him still waiting, but we believe that with your support, we can help him find the loving family he so deserves.Could you be the one to give Dasher the home he’s been dreaming of? He’s ready to bring joy, love, and lots of bum wiggles into your life!
