Hey there, I'm Helga, the bouncing ball of energy in a furry package! I'm a six-month-old German Shepherd Mix, tipping the scales at a nimble 29.2 pounds. With my sleek black and tan coat and my sparkling personality, I'm ready to charm my way into your heart.
First things first, let's talk about my resume: I'm housebroken, crate trained, and already spayed – pretty impressive for a pup my age, if I do say so myself! I'm good with kids, dogs, and even those mysterious creatures called cats. No special needs here, just a whole lot of love to give!
Now, let's talk requirements. I'm a puppy, through and through, which means I've got energy to spare! So, my ideal home would have a fenced yard where I can zoom around to my heart's content. And don't forget about playtime – I thrive on it! Whether it's with my humans, my furry siblings, or even a squeaky toy, I'm always up for a good time.
Speaking of furry siblings, I've got a two-year-old Golden Retriever mix foster brother who's my absolute favorite playmate. We run, we wrestle, and we have a blast together! But don't worry, I'll listen to verbal cues and respect boundaries – I'm a smart pup, after all.

Local adoptions only. We do not adopt out of the state of Illinois. Helga is being fostered in a private home. Appointments to meet her will be set up for approved adopters only. Her adoption fee is $300 which includes all age appropriate vaccines. She is spayed, microchipped and Heartworm negative. She has also been kept on both flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.
