Famous came to us from California with her litter mate and she would love to find a loving home to grow up in! Sadly, Famous was abandoned in an orchard in California and was found by some Good Samaritans who brought her and her brother home. They were about 8 weeks old. - Approximate date of birth May 14th, 2024 - Approximately 10 pounds at 13 weeks old - Social, sweet and confident - Medium puppy energy that is reasonable - No parent dogs to reference but we are guessing Famous is a German Shepherd/Husky mix - Working hard on crate training. Will go into her crate on her own and take a nap. Does ok left alone in the crate home alone for short stretches. - Sleeps through the night in bed with her foster family and doesn't generally get up in the night. - Working hard on potty training but she is very young at 13 weeks old and will need continued structure, patience and supervision as any young puppy would. Has a pretty good schedule and routine in foster that has her about 80% successful with potty habits. - Fostered with other dogs and does well. Likely best with a male dog in her future home. - Fostered with kids as young as 2 years old and has not been very mouthy, she has been appropriate. - Already starting to fetch a favorite toy when you throw it - Knows sit and will sit for a treat - Working on learning how to walk on leash. She's a smart girl that works for treats. We are looking for committed puppy adopters that value training and socializing their puppy at a young age so that they can grow up to become well mannered and confident adult dogs. We scheduled spay/neuter surgery for puppies at approximately 1 year of age to allow them time to have their growth hormones for better chances at long term health. Famous has had three rounds of puppy vaccines, a Bordatella vaccine, microchip, flea/tick/heartworm prevention and multiple rounds of dewormer. Beautiful 2.5yo GSD looking for their new home! We adopted this sweet girl about 2 months ago and our 11 month old is allergic and she needs training to be around other dogs! Juniper Cookie is fun loving and all she wants to do is play! She does not understand her own size and weight so greets by jumping and nipping but with a few minutes of patience she is on the ground ready for belly rubs! She did not grow up around other animals and is extremely reactive to all other animals. She appears overly excited/happy when seeing other dogs but does not seem to understand how to interact with them. Though I have only ever seen her show aggression with 1 dog in particular (who was aggressive towards her). Juniper Cookie is amazing with our 11mo and so gentle! Though when excited is unaware of her body in space and might bump him down occasionally. She loves walks, the beach, chasing flies, and playing in the backyard!
