Story
Lamont is a 4-year-old German Shepherd who, despite his impressive size, is a sensitive soul. He's a bit nervous and fearful at first, especially when handled in certain ways. He needs a home that understands him and is committed to slow, positive training. He requires a calm, stable environment and an owner who is willing to respect his boundaries and build trust at his pace. Lamont is a loyal dog in the making, but he needs a specific kind of support. Story
Bean is an energetic and loving dog to her humans, unfortunately she hasn’t been able to get along with the other dogs in the household and outside of it. Countless hours and funds have gone into training and unfortunately I just don’t have the means to fund the process any longer. Bean has gotten along with our cats under supervision but they aren’t alone for more than a few minutes. She is well behaved in the home and knows quite a few commands, however I consider her a teenager who likes to ignore us on occasion lol. Bean needs a loving home with no other dogs. She loves fetch, cuddles, and anything with a squeaker.

Story
Willa is a 2-year old who was abandoned in my neighborhood in Sept. 2024 by a homeless person who left Willa staked to my neighbor's yard. We all helped take care of Willa hoping that the owner would come back, but when my neighbor was about to call animal services, I volunteered to adopt her. I have 2 older adopted dogs and volunteer with Guide Dogs for the Blind, so I felt confident that I could help Willa transition into our home. She started out shy but quickly showed us her wonderful energy, keen intelligence, and spirited "puppy brain". But as she matured and gained confidence, she started challenging the male lab and picking on the small female; it's apparent that she hadn't been raised by a mom-dog or socialized with litter mates. In the last month, her playful sparring with the male lab has turned into aggressive fighting. I think she will do better in a home w/o other pets and with someone who can take her running, hiking, or biking.
