Story
Hello my name is Beck, I am a German Shepard mix and am around 1 year old and weigh about 65 lbs. I do get along with other dogs but would prefer an older female dog friend that could show me the ropes. I might not do the best with cats as they are fun to chase and I would prefer older kids so I don't accidentally knock them over or hurt them. I am a shy dog but warm up quickly if you show me it's okay. I am eager to learn and love food so if you have some I might just do what you ask of me or at least try. I am learning many things here at the shelter and love to learn and interact with the people here. I love going for walks and getting to run around in the yard and chase toys. If you are interested in meeting me please email to get an application. If you would like to meet him we ask that you please email adoption@columbiahumane.org in order to obtain an application. Once we have an approved application on file, we will then schedule at time for you to come and meet him. His adoption fee is $150.00 that includes him being current on his vaccinations, microchipped, treated for fleas and treated for worms. For more information call 503-397-4353 or email adoption@columbiahumane.orgDecember 30, 2024, 6:04 am

Story
Hi my name is Annabelle. I’m a German Shepard Mix and am about 8 months old and weigh in at about 60 lbs. I do get along with other dogs but need a dog friend that will correct me and teach me the ropes of how to play nice and just be a dog. I don’t do good with cats as I like to chase. Because I am still young It probably wouldn’t be best for me to go with young kids because I am still learning and am going to get big. I am pretty shy when it comes to new things and need someone that is gonna show me that it will be okay. I am learning that food is really good and toys are fun to play with. I am a sweet girl and would love to meet you so please email to get an application. If you are interested in adopting this wonderful girl we ask that you please email adoption@columbiahumane.org in order to obtain an application. Once you have an approved application on file we will then schedule a time for you to come and meet her. Story
Hello my name is Tucker I am a German Shepherd Great Dane mix and am around 1 year old and weigh in at about 60 lbs. I love other dogs, not really sure about cats. I'm most likely am gonna try and get them so I probably shouldn't be housed with one. I would do better with older kids as I think I'm a lap dog even though I am a big dog. I love to cuddle and be loved on though I can be nervous when meeting new people, food though is really good and makes me like people. I also like learning new things and going for long walks to stretch my long legs. Life is a little scary to me and I need someone that will show me that things are okay. If you are interested in meeting me please email to get an application. If you are interested in learning more about this pretty boy please feel free to email adoption@columbiahumane.org Tucker's adoption fee is $250.00 that will include him being altered, treated for fleas, microchipped and fully vaccinated. For more information call 503-397-4353 or email adoption@columbiahumane.orgDecember 30, 2024, 6:04 am

Story
Oh FLYNN! We love this guy so much. Flynn is a big dog, very tall, and 70+ lbs and he knows it! He is goofy(yet smart) and is very energetic, loyal and strong. He is a leaner, loves to lean in for pets. He is protective of his people, very attentive. Flynn will do best in a home with kids over 14. Smaller kids just scare him. He loves to fetch, play ball or chase a stick for as long as you will let him. He loves digging in his sandbox and hiding balls, then finding them again. He is dog selective, would likely do better with a female dog. He doesn't like his feet to be touched, so that is something to consider. He loves his people and would love a family that loved him as much as he loves them. He would love a human to cuddle. He is a puppy
