Duke is pure breed from Florida. Smartest Dog you will ever meet. He is amazing and attentive. I just have a super busy schedule now and been trying to navigate around it for about a year but its becoming unfair for him to be stuck at home without me as I work 12-14 hours a day.

Story
Meet Leo! Leo is a handsome young German shepherd who loves meeting new people and playing with his toys. Leo is lanky and is still working on growing into his body but that just makes him all the cuter. He can be jumpy and mouthy in the usual puppy way, but he would thrive in an active family to tire him out. Teens and up would be best due to his occasional lack of manners and large size. **Leo is in our special adoption program, if you are interested in him please complete an adopter's profile at parl.org and email Claire at cshamgochian@parl.org**

Story
Titan is a handsome, approximately four-year-old German Shepherd mix. Titan was found as a stray by a family in the south who, after not being able to find his owners, took him in and got his vetting done while they tried to find a new home for him. They kept him for a little over a year until they ultimately surrendered him, and he is now a PAWS New England dog.He is an absolute sweetheart! Titan loves affection and loves people . During an adoption event at PetSmart, Titan really enjoyed when children would get on the floor and love him. At one point, he had 3 and 4 kids petting him at one time from his head to his tail! He rolled over and enjoyed every minute. He is a calm dog and knows commands like sit, down, and rollover. He has excellent recall and comes right to you when called. He is also house-trained. He behaves very well on car rides. He loves playing outside and going for walks. He does well on a leash. Titan can be protective of his food with other dogs but not with people (His foster mom can pick up his food in the middle of eating with no issues). He can be in a home with other dogs or would be fine as the only dog. He gets along with most other dogs but prefers females. He can be a bit of a bully at first to some dogs, so he needs a confident, in-charge owner who isn’t a pushover as Titan will try to run the show. He plays a bit rough at times, too, so being with very senior dogs is not recommended. This boy isn’t into playing fetch but is interested in playing with large Jolly Balls. His favorite activities include cuddling with humans, guarding the fence line, laying on the couch (or his bed), and chewing his toys. He loves food, treats, and chew toys. He also likes to go for a swim in a lake occasionally. He is crate-trained and goes in quickly with no issues. He doesn’t cry when in the crate and doesn’t try to get out. He is content to lay quietly and chew on a bone. He barks at his foster mom’s cat and will chase her if he can. He can easily be redirected and quickly forgets about her. But we think no cats or a very dog-savvy cat would be best. If you are looking for a buddy who loves to cuddle, Titan is the one for the job.Check out some videos of this friendly gent:https://youtube.com/shorts/ebQYMfAMbpI?si=wfKKCEzDzDC9teAthttps://youtube.com/shorts/Sx1jJof4zkE?si=HslmS5DDHVEBAJBJhttps://youtube.com/shorts/K_NHwxV_Pyk?si=juPdCh8c4jPvsMZTName: TitanBreed: German Shepherd Dog/CrossbreedSex: MaleAge: 4 years  (estimated)Weight: 71lbs.Spayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: Negative on recent testingMicrochipped: YesBASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS: Good with Children: Over 5Good with Dogs: SelectiveGood with Cats: SelectiveAdoption Fee: $500.00  (includes transport fee when applicable)Location of dog currently:    LIttle Rock AR   IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue - our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south and New England.  Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. Story
Bacchus is a 4-month-old German Shepherd Dog mix who was abandoned at a schoolyard in Memphis.A mom picking up her children took him home so he would be safe. Unfortunately, The family cannot keep him as they have five cats, and Bacchus likes to chase the cats. Bacchus is just a puppy, and we are sure he doesn’t mean to hurt them, but the cats don’t appreciate it So, a no cat home is needed for this sweet boy.Bacchus is a friendly, well-socialized, Happy, playful, outgoing, typical German Shepherd puppy! Full of fun and life, and very confident. He loves people and has never met a stranger. He is Growing up around kids and loves to play outside with them .Bacchus is an AWESOME puppy with a happy, loving temperament who will make a great companion for an active family who loves the breed.Check out Bacchus’ video :https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ziubyHxW8gName: BacchusBreed: German Shepherd Dog/CrossbreedSex: MaleAge: 23 weeks as of 8/12/24Weight: 30lbsSpayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations:   Puppy vaccines will be up to date - all vaccinations required after adoption are the responsibility of the adopter.Heartworm: Too young (testing is done at 6 months of age)Housetrained:  Not usuallyMicrochipped: YesLocation of dog currently:  Memphis  TN   Puppy Adoption Fee:  $550.00 The adoption fee also includes the transport fee.ATTENTION PUPPY ADOPTERS:  You must attend training/behavior classes with your new dog unless you are experienced dog owners and your adoption coordinator is comfortable with your experience.  This requirement is for the benefit of you and your puppy, so if you experience behavior issues, you have a point of contact.  PLEASE—Think long and hard before adopting a puppy. Consider the lifestyle change this puppy will come with. He cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours at a time until he's older. Puppy-proofing your home will be necessary. Puppies scratch and nip, so if you have small children, can they handle this? Training will be so important in this puppy's life. Do you have the time? Please consider purchasing this book before adopting.  Perfect Puppy in 7 Days - How to Start Your Puppy Off Right, Sophia Yin, DVM - it is an amazing book that we recommend very highly and have had amazing feedback on.https://www.amazon.com/Perfect-Puppy-Days-Start-Right/dp/0964151871IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue. Story
This is MACON! The handsomest 2 year old male who is a very striking breed of dog and dog. Seriously, we're not sure his breed but we know he'll be a larger pup and he's wonderful. Macon was found running down the middle of the highway in Macon County, was found by some kind souls who took him in. Macon loves other dogs and kids, but he has a bit too much energy for the good Samaritans that found him. He foster sister is a 13 year old Chi that Macon is very respectful to, but the Chi is a bit cantankerous and doesn't like to share. Macon knows his manners, caught on to the basics very quickly, he knows to sit, stay and other basic commands. He absolutely LOVES toys. His fosters say he could chase a tennis ball or frisbee forever (fetch level pro) but he does very well when let inside to cuddle on the couch too. If you are interested in having this wonderful pup join your family, please let us know using this link: dixiegirldogrescue.org/adopt-form. Story
Delta Marie Delta is a sweet and loving 3 year old shepherd Pyrenees mix. She enjoys running and romping in the yard as well as loving on her human. She is up for lounging on the sofa or going on an adventure. She needs an active family that can keep her busy. She is shy at first but once she warms up to you she wants to be in your lap. She is food motivated and a fast and eager learner. She is good with children over 10. She can be dog selective, so not every dog is her friend and she is not a fan of cats. She needs a fenced in yard due to her high prey drive of chasing squirrels, so she get lost.  She is housebroken and crate trained and walks on leash. She is a happy energetic girl looking for her furever family. She has been with us for a year and was surrendered by her owner because they were moving and didn't want to take her. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, microchipped with lifetime monitoring, on flea and hw prevention.
