Story
Boone Robinson is currently in RI and looking for a 'furever' home! Boone is a 1-year-old German Shepherd mix weighing about 58 lbs. Having spent most of his first year outside with other dogs rather than people, Boone thrives in the company of a fur friend. He is housebroken, doesn't bark, has no separation anxiety, and is not destructive. Boone does experience anxiety with new things, new people, and new noises. However, he's shown improvement with the use of a calming collar and Purina Pro Care Calming supplements. Inside the house, Boone is very low-key and prefers to stay in one spot, never needing to be crated. Boone is looking for a patient and understanding home that can provide him with the companionship he craves and help him continue to build confidence. Could you be the perfect match for Boone? If you are interested in adopting this dog please complete the adoption application at www.rhodehomerescue.org/adoption-form to become a pre-approved adopter. Story
After a work accident leaving me with limited usage of both my upper limbs & excruciating chronic pain, I now also developed cardiomyopathy from a congenital heart defect. I can no longer care for my dog properly, and I sadly have no one in my circle who is willing to adopt him, so, for the sake of both his health and mine, I am making the extremely difficult decision to rehome him. Dante is a 4 year-old neutered purebred GSD. He is crate trained, enjoys a fenced in yard, & is housebroken. He's an expert in playing fetch and loves to be petted and snuggled. Among those he knows, he is loyal, sweet, and clownish. He is wary around unfamiliar people, but will warm up with treats. He loves water and playing with mud. Dante has a moderate amount of energy and needs a family who can properly exercise him. His new home MUST be free of cats and other dogs. He especially dislikes other dogs and can be difficult on leash if they are present. It is unknown how he is around children.

Story
Titan is a handsome, approximately four-year-old German Shepherd mix. Titan was found as a stray by a family in the south who, after not being able to find his owners, took him in and got his vetting done while they tried to find a new home for him. They kept him for a little over a year until they ultimately surrendered him, and he is now a PAWS New England dog.He is an absolute sweetheart! Titan loves affection and loves people . During an adoption event at PetSmart, Titan really enjoyed when children would get on the floor and love him. At one point, he had 3 and 4 kids petting him at one time from his head to his tail! He rolled over and enjoyed every minute. He is a calm dog and knows commands like sit, down, and rollover. He has excellent recall and comes right to you when called. He is also house-trained. He behaves very well on car rides. He loves playing outside and going for walks. He does well on a leash. Titan can be protective of his food with other dogs but not with people (His foster mom can pick up his food in the middle of eating with no issues). He can be in a home with other dogs or would be fine as the only dog. He gets along with most other dogs but prefers females. He can be a bit of a bully at first to some dogs, so he needs a confident, in-charge owner who isn’t a pushover as Titan will try to run the show. He plays a bit rough at times, too, so being with very senior dogs is not recommended. This boy isn’t into playing fetch but is interested in playing with large Jolly Balls. His favorite activities include cuddling with humans, guarding the fence line, laying on the couch (or his bed), and chewing his toys. He loves food, treats, and chew toys. He also likes to go for a swim in a lake occasionally. He is crate-trained and goes in quickly with no issues. He doesn’t cry when in the crate and doesn’t try to get out. He is content to lay quietly and chew on a bone. He barks at his foster mom’s cat and will chase her if he can. He can easily be redirected and quickly forgets about her. But we think no cats or a very dog-savvy cat would be best. If you are looking for a buddy who loves to cuddle, Titan is the one for the job.Check out some videos of this friendly gent:https://youtube.com/shorts/ebQYMfAMbpI?si=wfKKCEzDzDC9teAthttps://youtube.com/shorts/Sx1jJof4zkE?si=HslmS5DDHVEBAJBJhttps://youtube.com/shorts/K_NHwxV_Pyk?si=juPdCh8c4jPvsMZTName: TitanBreed: German Shepherd Dog/CrossbreedSex: MaleAge: 4 years  (estimated)Weight: 71lbs.Spayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: Negative on recent testingMicrochipped: YesBASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS: Good with Children: Over 5Good with Dogs: SelectiveGood with Cats: SelectiveAdoption Fee: $500.00  (includes transport fee when applicable)Location of dog currently:    LIttle Rock AR   IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue - our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south and New England.  Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. Unfortunately, The family cannot keep him as they have five cats, and Bacchus likes to chase the cats. Full of fun and life, and very confident. He loves people and has never met a stranger. Consider the lifestyle change this puppy will come with. He cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours at a time until he's older. Puppy-proofing your home will be necessary. Puppies scratch and nip, so if you have small children, can they handle this? Training will be so important in this puppy's life. Do you have the time? Please consider purchasing this book before adopting.  Perfect Puppy in 7 Days - How to Start Your Puppy Off Right, Sophia Yin, DVM - it is an amazing book that we recommend very highly and have had amazing feedback on.https://www.amazon.com/Perfect-Puppy-Days-Start-Right/dp/0964151871IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue. Story
Meet Rocky, a lovable one-year-old Shepherd mix with a heart full of love and a sweet disposition! Rocky's journey began when he was abandoned with a group of dogs in a remote area in central Arkansas. Fortunately, a kind family took pity on the dogs and welcomed them into their home. The family is now fostering Rocky until he finds his forever home, with the help of our rescue group. Rocky is fully vetted, including vaccinations, neutering, heartworm prevention, and microchipping. He thrives on attention and loves to cuddle in your lap, making him the perfect companion for cozy moments. Rocky is very food-motivated, which makes him easy to train, and he adores treats. He loves both dogs and people, but his compatibility with cats is unknown. Rocky is incredibly sweet and deserves a loving family of his own. Transport is available from Arkansas to New England, and his adoption fee is $350, covering the cost of transport. Residents of Arkansas have a lower adoption fee of $175.  If you're looking for a cuddly, trainable, and loving companion, Rocky is ready to bring joy and affection into your life! For questions, you may text us at 501.289.0894, and visit our website at arkanpaws.org. Adopt Rocky and give this sweet boy the loving home he deserves!   2/2         4o ##2130195##

Story
Meet Leo! Leo is a handsome young German shepherd who loves meeting new people and playing with his toys. Leo is lanky and is still working on growing into his body but that just makes him all the cuter. He can be jumpy and mouthy in the usual puppy way, but he would thrive in an active family to tire him out. Teens and up would be best due to his occasional lack of manners and large size. **Leo is in our special adoption program, if you are interested in him please complete an adopter's profile at parl.org and email Claire at cshamgochian@parl.org**

Duke is pure breed from Florida. Smartest Dog you will ever meet. He is amazing and attentive. I just have a super busy schedule now and been trying to navigate around it for about a year but its becoming unfair for him to be stuck at home without me as I work 12-14 hours a day.
