Jordan is in desperate need of a foster family! We need a committed foster family to be able to get Jordan out of the Texas shelter where he’s been living since birth and bring him to Wisconsin. Fostering costs $0! Wag N’ Purr Animal Rescue will provide you with everything you need to keep your foster pup happy and healthy. You just need to provide a stable, loving home and nurturing environment. Your foster pup will have had a health exam, they will be up to date on age appropriate vaccinations and dewormed. We do ask that foster families be willing to pick up your foster in Alllenton, WI. on transport day. You should also be willing to bring your foster to our vet in West Bend, WI. if needed. (We cover any vet costs) Because we are solely foster based and do not have a physical location, it’s very important that if you commit to taking a foster from a particular group, that you honor your commitment until your foster pet has been adopted. If you back out, we have nowhere to go with your foster pet.

Story
Diesel is a 9 year old shepherd/husky mix. He currently lives with another dog, so he does get along with SOME dogs but not all and can take some time to warm up to them. He is not good with kids and we are rehoming him due to him biting my daughter. He is a relatively low energy dog and deals with anxiety. He would love a home with owners who can dedicate more time to him.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Lone Ranger is a lovable German Shepherd who will forever be a giant puppy at heart! With his sweet personality and endless energy, he’s ready to bring joy and love to any home. While Lone Ranger has special needs due to hip dysplasia and swimmer’s syndrome, he doesn’t let that slow him down. He loves to try to play, though he may tire out faster after long walks as his legs become weak. His playful spirit is truly contagious, but it's important to note that he may need breaks to rest. Lone Ranger would do best in a home with older children, as his size and wobbly movements can be a bit much for younger ones. He’s very strong and a giant bundle of puppy energy! Although he can be a little mouthy, using his mouth to communicate, he is not aggressive and never tries to bite. He’s also okay with cats, but he might get a bit too enthusiastic and “in their face” while trying to play, so the cats will need to be tolerant of his playful nature. Lone Ranger gets along well with other dogs, but since he's still learning how to communicate with them, he can sometimes be a bit much. Having spent the first few months of his life locked in a crate, the crate is no longer his safe space, and he’ll need patience and encouragement to relearn that it’s okay. At the end of the day, Lone Ranger is a cuddly, loving dog who craves attention and affection. He would love nothing more than to snuggle up with his people after a fun play session. If you’re looking for a sweet, energetic, and affectionate companion who will bring so much love into your life, Lone Ranger might just be the perfect fit. Come meet him today and let him show you what a special pup he truly is! All of our animals are spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped, heartworm tested, receive prevention while in our care, and up to date on age appropriate vaccines.
