Jordan is in desperate need of a foster family! We need a committed foster family to be able to get Jordan out of the Texas shelter where he’s been living since birth and bring him to Wisconsin. Fostering costs $0! Wag N’ Purr Animal Rescue will provide you with everything you need to keep your foster pup happy and healthy. You just need to provide a stable, loving home and nurturing environment. Your foster pup will have had a health exam, they will be up to date on age appropriate vaccinations and dewormed. We do ask that foster families be willing to pick up your foster in Alllenton, WI. on transport day. You should also be willing to bring your foster to our vet in West Bend, WI. if needed. (We cover any vet costs) Because we are solely foster based and do not have a physical location, it’s very important that if you commit to taking a foster from a particular group, that you honor your commitment until your foster pet has been adopted. If you back out, we have nowhere to go with your foster pet.

Story
Diesel is a 9 year old shepherd/husky mix. He currently lives with another dog, so he does get along with SOME dogs but not all and can take some time to warm up to them. He is not good with kids and we are rehoming him due to him biting my daughter. He is a relatively low energy dog and deals with anxiety. He would love a home with owners who can dedicate more time to him.

Story
Meet our sweet and laid-back girl, ❤️GEMMA❤️🐾! GEMMA is currently stuck in the kill shelter system in Arkansas, and is catching a ride with Mutt Life Dog Rescue to Cedarburg, Wisconsin on Saturday, March 15th (3/15/25). She was lucky enough to make it into a foster home while she waits for her ride up! Gemma is a super sweet, easygoing dog with a calm demeanor – she’s more “woah” than “go” and is on the lower end of the energy scale. She gets along with everyone she meets, making her an ideal companion for a family or someone who doesn’t want to deal with all the puppy chaos. She’s already house-trained, crate-trained, and fantastic on a leash. In fact, she’s even off-leash with her current foster! She gets along with other dogs great and is fine with cats. She is also kid friendly! Gemma is the perfect "already-made" dog, ready to jump right into a loving home without all the typical puppy behavior. She has a foster, but is still looking for an ADOPTER! Can you help this sweet girl get out of the shelter and into a loving family? Story
Meet Benjamin Barker – Your Loyal Companion Waiting for a New Beginning! Hi, I'm Benjamin Barker, but you can just call me Ben! I used to have a family, and life was pretty good. I had kids to play with, a home to call my own, and a routine that made me feel safe and loved. But one day, everything changed. My family moved out and left me behind. I didn’t understand why, but I patiently waited, hoping they'd come back. Then, a kind neighbor noticed I wasn’t out playing with the kids like usual and decided to check on me. They found the door unlocked, and there I was, all alone, just waiting for my people. But don’t worry – I’m not sad anymore! I’m in a loving foster home now, and I’m ready for a fresh start. I’m a sweet and loyal dog who loves snuggles, belly rubs, and playing outside when the weather’s nice. I get along with other dogs and would be great in a home where I can have a buddy to share my adventures with. I’m potty trained, crate trained, I know a few commands, and I’m always ready to learn more. I do have some puppy energy and would do best with a family who knows about german shepherds and is ready to do some training and provide me the stimulation that I need. I am working on walking on a leash nicely and I am super smart and trainable. I get along great with the 3 pittbulls that I am currently fostered with and love to play with them. I have not been around cats yet, so unsure how I would be with them. I do really great with kids. If you're looking for a loyal, loving companion who’s ready to put the past behind him and start a new chapter with you, I might just be the perfect fit! Come meet me today – I’m sure we’ll be best friends in no time. 🐾❤️ Benjamin Barker – waiting for the family who will love him forever. __________ Adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter procedure, up to date dewormer,  vaccinations, heart worm prevention (age appropriate) and certified veterinarian inspection within 30 days of adoption.  __________ Review adoption requirements and ensure you meet the necessary criteria to apply! https://www.muttlife.org/adoption-policies _________ ADOPTION PROCESS: 1.)
