Story
Niyla is about a year and some months old. She is a very affectionate dog that loves the company of other dogs, so she would do better in an environment of multiple dogs or at least 1 other dog. Niyla is very intelligent, so she would be a great fit for someone who would love to train her. She knows quite a bit and is a loving dog that cares about your feelings. Niyla gravitates to you if you’re sad or feeling depressed it seems as if she has a special gift. I would recommend that she would be a great service dog for someone. Niyla loves the freedom of running and jumping in the backyard where she is very confident and loves to bathe in the sun at times. You can never underestimate her intelligence because she is very smart and a leader around other dogs. Niyla just wants to be loved and give it in return. It would be wonderful if someone considers this angel that’s looking for a loving beautiful home to share her love with Others. She is a free dog ,adopton fee already covered.

Story
Klondike is a 2-year-old German Shepherd with a gentle soul and sweet eyes to match. She’s affectionate, smart, and has an old soul that’s easy to love. Currently in her Texas foster home, Klondike is thriving—she’s friendly with other dogs and has a mellow temperament that makes her great with kids. Klondike is ready for the next chapter in Wisconsin, where she hopes to find the perfect family to give her the love and care she deserves. FEE INCLUDES: Adopting an adult dog (6 months or older) includes spaying/neutering, vaccinations, deworming, flea & tick prevention, heartworm testing, and microchipping. For dogs under 6 months, they receive age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, flea/tick prevention, and microchipping. All dogs are spayed/neutered by 6 months, covered within the adoption fee. The procedure must be done at one of our partner clinics. To begin the adoption process, please submit an application on our website: www.hbwi.org/adopt. Once approved, you'll have the opportunity to meet our available dogs. Following the meeting, you can initiate a 5-day Adoption Trial, allowing you to take the dog home. This trial period is designed to ensure the dog is a match for you and aligns with your lifestyle. After the 5-day trial, if all goes well, the adoption will be finalized. Additionally, we require a home visit once the dog is settled in its new home to ensure a smooth transition for both the dog and the adopter.

Story
Athena is a 6 year old, 80 lb female German Shepherd hoping to find her forever home! She was surrendered to us due to the death of one of her owners, and she arrived in pretty bad shape. She wasn't potty trained, and she had a bad skin infection. Since fixing both of those issues along with decompression, Athena has really come out of her shell! This lovely lady is spayed, up to date on vaccines, crate trained, and potty training has gone very well! Athena enjoys being around people! She LOVES being in public and meeting new people. Athena is very interested in meeting other dogs, and she loves going for her walks. She has not been cat tested yet, but we can do that it needed.Athena would probably do best in a home with older children as she may accidentally knock over small children due to her size. She's not a jumper, but she loves to lean on you when she wants to be pet. Athena also loves to play with toys, and she is catching on to fetch!DATCP#483538

All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs once they're at least 6 months old. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months, they will need to be spayed/neutered by your veterinarian when they are between 6 to 8 months old. Proof that the spay/neuter has been completed will need to be submitted to Tailwaggers911. Once proof of the spay/neuter has been received, we will refund $100 of your adoption fee via Venmo, PayPal or have a check in the mail within 15 days. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as ADOPTION IN PROCESS, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. March 7, 2025, 10:37 pm
