Story
Rooster is an 83 pound ooey gooey sweetheart of a good boy who’s had a little bit of a rough start in life. He was at a local shelter in late summer of 2024, and was adopted by a young man who had just suddenly lost his mom. Due to another unexpected & devastating death in his family, Rooster’s owner had to change living situations and found a temporary foster for him. He planned on getting Rooster back after graduating from high school in May, but made the difficult decision to surrender Rooster due to some uncertainty surrounding what the future holds for him. Fortunately, Funny Farm specializes in providing happy endings for difficult situations. We believe Rooster has a perfect adopter out there who will love his playfulness, tender heart, easygoing attitude, goofy personality, and his unique physical features (brindle coat, speckled feet, double dew claws, docked tail). He’s quite a handsome catch who gets along with everyone (other dogs, cats, kids, etc.). He’s just as happy to go for a frolic as he is to snuggle up with you on the couch. He’s truly a dog for all seasons. If you are interested in giving Rooster the happy ending that he deserves, you will need to submit an application at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FFRR/Dog You can read all about our TN based rescue and how the adoption and transport process works at funnyfarmpets.org Rooster’s adoption fee is $325. He is already neutered, and healthy as a horse. He should be ready to travel by the first of April. He is currently being fostered in Pinson, TN but can travel north with our trusted transport partner. Of course, we always welcome local adoptions too!

This is a Courtesy Listing and has no affiliation with Petrescue. Please contact the owner listed below directly Rosie is an almost 4 year old (5/28/2020) Short Hair Pointer Mix. She is the snuggliest, softest love bug. She is 60-65lbs. She loves walks, hikes, dog parks, playing fetch in fields, going for rides in the car and visiting stores like Home Goods or Home Depot. She is a true companion. She is timid with new people but when she earns your trust she is a true best friend. Rosie went to a 6 week training camp at Balanced K9 in Fairfield CT. She learned how to follow commands and be more comfortable out in public. She is incredibly smart and playful. Rosie would do well in a house with no kids and no other pets.If you are interested in this dog, please contact 631-848-3139

Story
Birthdate: 1/10/2016Breed: One of a kindRemi is a good boy with everyone he meets! He especially loves to go out for his walks and spend time with his favorite volunteers. You will often find Remi in a play yard romping and hopping with his little tail wagging. Remi would do best in a home with an experienced owner, someone that can give him a loving routine and some exercise! If you are that person, you truly will have the best of friends in Remi. *Remi would love to get to know you better! Our behavior specialist can help you get to know him better with three training sessions! Email us at adoptions@pawscrossedny.org for more information!*Before you can adopt, please complete an adoption questionnaire on our website at pawscrossedny.org/dog-adoption-questionnaire. If you have any questions, please email us at adoptions@pawscrossedny.org for more information. Please understand that we cannot hold any pets. All adoptions are done on a first come, first adopt basis for pre-approved applicants. The Shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.January 21, 2025, 1:16 am

Story
Meet Mary Ann and Ginger, an adorable bonded pair of medium-sized rescue dogs who are searching for their forever home. These super cute girls have spent their entire lives on their own until they were recently rescued. Despite their rough beginnings, Mary Ann and Ginger are incredibly sweet and are now learning to enjoy the comforts of a loving home. Both Mary Ann and Ginger get along wonderfully with other dogs, though they haven't had the chance to meet any cats yet. They need a patient adopter who will give them the time and space they need to adjust to their new surroundings and discover the joys of being cherished pets. Ginger, who bravely underwent heartworm treatment, is now healthy and heartworm negative. Both dogs are fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, and on preventatives. They even tolerate baths and absolutely love being petted. Currently, Mary Ann and Ginger are being fostered in Seguin, TX, where they are receiving the care and love they deserve. If you have a kind heart and a gentle hand, these two sweethearts will surely reward you with endless affection and loyalty. Adopt Mary Ann and Ginger and give them the loving home they've always dreamed of.

Story
Lottie is a smart, good-natured dog. She is always happy to meet new people, go on walks and car rides; she even loves the vet! Lottie spends much of her day relaxing in the sun or other favorite spots. She is a quiet dog but will bark when delivery folks come to the door or the landscapers are working (particularly the leaf blower). She is good with bigger kids, but her size and goofy enthusiasm may be an issue with smaller kids/toddlers. Lottie doesnt like loud noises and gets a bit anxious during Fourth of July or strong thunderstorms. She likes to go to her safe space (bathroom) and wait it out. Shes a great dog!

Story
Fiona needs a new foster or foster-to-adopt home. About three years old, Fiona came from a large hoarding situation. She is a shy, gentle girl who needs TLC and time to get comfortable in a home. Fiona loves other dogs and we would like to see her in a home with at least one other dog. The activity level of small children would scare her, so an adult home or one with older children would be ideal. She needs a home with a securely fenced yard, and a family who has experience and patience. To foster or foster-to-adopt Fiona please fill out our application - https://www.furryfriendsct.org/foster-application NOTE: Foster or foster-to-adopt families must be located within the state of Connecticut.

Story
Lyla just loves playing with other dogs She's shy with new people and takes a little time to realize you're just a new friend she hasn't met yet - but a few treats and some time and she'll figure it out! She'd love a home with a securely fenced yard (she hasn't figured out leashes yet) and a dog friend or two - and would be happy to live with teenaged children. This sweet girl came from a large hoarding situation and she has come so far! These days she's a happy girl - and is ready and waiting to find her forever home. If that home could be yours, please fill out an application - https://www.furryfriendsct.org/adoption-application
