She gets along with dogs and cats, although she is shy at times. 08/15/2024 - Lele saw the veterinarian and is up to date on all vaccinations and received a clean bill of health for her yearly check up weighing in at 57.4. He did say she can lose 5 lbs. I am looking for someone that can spend the time with her, with a yard she can roam and enjoy. She is a sweetheart, good listener, and great company. Story
Rocky is an amazing dog. He is very loved by our family of 6. He was born in North Carolina and we anxiously waited for him to be born. However, we have discovered pet allergies are present in our children. We have attempted to make it work for everyone for in our home because we have so much love for Rocky, but we can no longer do so. Rocky loves to be outside, he loves to explore, and run. He is such a lover, he will always be at your side, and always there to offer love whenever needed. He will be greatly missed.

Story
Look at that face! Harold has a happy, friendly personality to match his good looks. He is a handsome, affectionate, friendly boy, who has a waggy tail, loves to cuddle and is pretty free with his kisses! He is friendly with other dogs, big and small. Harold loves to play. He is not a fan of bicycles whizzing by, so will do best in a quiet neighborhood environment. Harold is housebroken, and sleeps quietly through the night in his crate. He is great with kids, but strong, so best with older kids. He walks nicely on a leash, likes to fetch a ball, but will be happy just chillin' in the grass and chewing on a bone! Harold is a proficient jumper, so if in the yard, the fence should be at least 5 feet tall. Training comes easier to Harold, as he is very food motivated. Be sure to complete an application on line and come to our Meet & Greet Saturday 11:30-1:30. If you are interested in this dog, please submit an application directly to our website, ny-petrescue.org. Only applications submitted directly to Petrescue will be considered.

This is a Courtesy Listing and has no affiliation with Petrescue. Please contact the owner listed below directly Rosie is an almost 4 year old (5/28/2020) Short Hair Pointer Mix. She is the snuggliest, softest love bug. She is 60-65lbs. She loves walks, hikes, dog parks, playing fetch in fields, going for rides in the car and visiting stores like Home Goods or Home Depot. She is a true companion. She is timid with new people but when she earns your trust she is a true best friend. Rosie went to a 6 week training camp at Balanced K9 in Fairfield CT. She learned how to follow commands and be more comfortable out in public. She is incredibly smart and playful. Rosie would do well in a house with no kids and no other pets.If you are interested in this dog, please contact 631-848-3139

Story
Bruceton is the runt of the litter so he's much smaller than his siblings. 12 week old nugget, adorable little mixed breed puppy and we think he is so cute we can hardly stand it! He is well socialized, friendly, loves to play with his dog friends, LOVES people, and is just generally a very good time. Hobbies are napping, eating, finding mischief, and stealing kisses! Waiting for his forever home Bruceton Is spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, treated for all of the intestinal parasites, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Because intestinal parasites are cyclical, your puppy may need additional treatment once you get him/her home. This is common and nothing to be alarmed about. Puppies and dogs need to be treated periodically for parasites throughout their entire lives. The adoption fee is $550 if your adoption is prepaid prior to your pup's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on puppies that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! More and more of our adopters are having fun with DNA tests on their pups. You might ask yourself why our breed guess is varying degrees of difference from the DNA tests. Most of our puppies are rescued from high kill shelters or other abandonment situations and we have no info on parents. When we rescue puppies that have no background info, we make our very best educated guess as to breed mix and age. Our guesstimate comes from years and years and years of animal welfare work and training, but our guesses won't always agree with your vet, your neighbor, your DNA test, etc. The most important thing to know about your puppy's breed mix is that most likely he/she is a Super Lovable Mutt made of many many many different breeds. If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at the Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get an automatically generated confirmation email. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back. After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.
