Story
If you’re looking for a BEAUTIFUL, YOUNG, FUN, VERY LOVEABLE Double Doodle – (Goldendoodle/Labradoodle mix), look no further, we have just the boy for you! He is always happy and he adores any personal attention that wish to lavish him with. Once you run your fingers through his soft wavy coat, you’re going to want to scoop him up and hug him all over…maybe even snuggle on the couch with him! He loves people (adults as well as kids), playing with his toys and with the other dogs. There’s nothing he would love more than being adopted by a fun and active family that will include him in all of their daily activities. His dob is 9/13/24, making him 7 months old, and weighing 58 pounds at the time of this posting 4/21/25. Roland has been neutered, 4DX heartworm tested, fecal tested, microchipped, current on all vaccinations, worming and on heartworm and flea prevention. His adoption fee is $400. Roland is being fostered in Tennessee. Once adopted he will be transported to his pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Our rescue ships to the Northeast area every week and his fee includes transportation. Due to state laws, we cannot accept applications from residents of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Maine since we can’t adopt directly to those states.

Story
My 3 children & I have had Millie for 4 years & she's very much loved. She is the kindest dog & all she wants is love and will happily be your best friend. As a single mom with a full time job and 1 child who struggles with anxiety and depression I am struggling to give Millie the love she deserves. About a year ago she developed epilepsy & is on 2 medications 2x a day. For the most part we keep her condition under control but she occassionally has seizures. She has had all the tests she can and the experts cannot find a reason why she has epilepsy. Her condition is managed with medication. She has always been quite timid and skittish, especially round other dogs, though with continual exposure to family dogs she enjoys their company. She loves our cat so has no problem with cats. I am not asking for any momey, I just need to find someone who loves dogs, wants a best friend and can give Millie the love she deserves. Best for her someone older, without kids and wants a companion.

Story
Handsome Taz is ready for his forever home. This gorgeous boy has a wonderful personality. He loves his chew toys, finding a cozy spot for a nap, rides in the car, and hanging out with his favorite person. Taz would love an active family to take him on lots of adventures. He is good with all people and other dogs. He has not encountered cats yet. Taz is comfortable in his crate and is fully house trained. He walks well on leash and is practicing his basic commands and manners. He is a smart pup who learns quickly. As with every dog, he will need a forever home committed to providing ongoing opportunities for socialization and positive training. Taz is up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations and monthly preventatives. He is neutered and microchipped, too. To adopt, submit an application at www.because4paws.org

Story
Hello friends! I’m Jenny—a 4-year-old Goldendoodle mix. I weigh about 30 pounds, which makes me the perfect size for cuddles (and I hope you’re ready, because I LOVE being pet). Seriously—once you start, I’ll melt right into you like butter. I’m super friendly and full of love. I’ve got a happy, sweet personality and I’m always ready to make your day brighter. Everyone who meets me says I’m so cute—and I have to admit, they’re not wrong! I’m looking for a forever home where I can be someone’s loyal sidekick and best friend. If you’ve got love to give, I’ve got plenty to share right back. Thank you so much for your interest in adopting a dog from A New Chance Animal Rescue (https://anewchancear.org). We are a 501c3, tax deductible organization. ANCAR is a foster-based rescue, and we adopt within a 90 mile radius of Bedford Hills, NY. You will find the adoption application here: (https://anewchancear.org/adopt/adoption-application/). All fields on the application must be completed. Please read about the adoption process (https://www.anewchancear.org/adopt/our-adoption-process/) so you'll know what to expect when you submit. Our dogs are in foster care and we do NOT have a shelter or boarding facility. AN APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED IN FULL AND APPROVED BEFORE A DOG CAN BE MET. This is a firm policy. Our busy volunteers are not able to respond to questions about the dog or dog meeting requests in the absence of an application. We know these dogs very well because they are in foster care. Please read the profiles of the dog(s) you are interested in prior to submitting an application. If there are specific requirements stated (ie: Fenced Yard or Canine Friend Required) these are included because they are vital to the happiness, health, safety and adoption success of that dog. We are only able to save as many dogs as we have foster homes (https://www.anewchancear.org/foster/faqs/) and resources for. We provide medical care including vaccinations, testing, deworming, spaying/neutering and microchipping before transporting our dogs. We provide all supplies, preventatives and any follow up vet care necessary while they are in foster care. These costs are high and the number of lives we can save is entirely dependent upon donations from people like you. We do not receive funding from private foundations or government sources. If you can find room in your heart to help us, with any amount, we are truly grateful (https://www.anewchancear.org/help/donate/). We are a 501c3 organization, so all donations are tax-deductible. It is only through the kindness of supporters like you that we are 'changing lives...one tail at a time' by providing our dogs with 'A New Chance.' (https://anewchancear.org) Thanks so much.
