PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION AND REQUIREMENTS FOR ADOPTION BENTLEY IS IN FOSTER CARE IN HOUSTON, TEXAS, THE ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES THE TRANSPORT AND INTERSTATE HEALTH CERT. This beautiful boy is an approx 3.8 year old,48 lb Goldendoodle, he is the sweetest dog, well behaved, he seems to be house and leash trained he loves to ride in the car , he hops right up in the back seat and sits down, he knows how to sit and loves curling up in his doggie bed he gets along with the other rescues and loves to play with them, but does better with dogs of his own size he likes to chase squirrels and loves to eat, the kitchen is his second home he is underweight and could easily put on a few lbs, he is a little on the pushy side and will race through the door when you open it and likes to join in when you are petting another dog, he loves attention, he could do with some basic training in manners.. he does get excited at times and very wiggly..and like a lot of doodles can be exuberant at times... he was very matted when we rescued him and had to have his beautiful coat shaved down , but it should grow back very quickly he is going to be a great dog for someone and will be a wonderful companion, he does require a fully fenced in and secure yard. WE ONLY ADOPT TO EXPERIENCED DOG OWNERS IF INTERESTED THERE IS AN APPLICATION ON OUR WEBSITE https://www.houstonshaggydogrescue.org

Story
Scottie is a great dog. I've had him and his sister since they were 8 weeks old. Both just turned 6 years old on June 5th. I have four dogs. I started this journey when I met my partner, he is an animal lover and when we joined in a house, we were able to take care of all the dogs. We since then had to downgrade and now in a condo, but it's too much for us. My partner became disabled for a while with cancer and still fighting other health issues that make taking care of the animals exhausting. The other animals are much older so placing them takes more thought and time. Scottie is still young, super loveable, a gentle giant who loves kids, people, and loves his toys especially. He has a box full of toys and whenever anyone comes to visit, he runs and grabs one from his toy box. Scottie eats twice a day, a cup of food in the morning and a cup at night. He loves the dog park and cozying up under you or on his doggie bed. Well trained and he just loves to hang out with the family.

Story
Hello humans! My name is Princess, and I’m a 5 year old Goldendoodle with a golden heart to match. I’m about 25 pounds of fluffy adorableness, and I’ve got a friendly personality to match. Despite my royal name, I haven’t had the easiest life—I spent my whole life confined to a puppy mill. But now, thanks to the rescue, I’m finally free and ready to start a new chapter. I’m a sweet and friendly girl who gets along well with everyone I meet. The rescue has already scheduled my spay, so all I need now is a loving home where I can feel safe and cherished. I’m ready to share my days with you and make up for lost time. I can’t wait to show you how wonderful life can be with me by your side! Thank you so much for your interest in adopting a dog from A New Chance Animal Rescue (https://anewchancear.org). We are a 501c3, tax deductible organization. ANCAR is a foster-based rescue, and we adopt within a 90 mile radius of Bedford Hills, NY. You will find the adoption application here: (https://anewchancear.org/adopt/adoption-application/). All fields on the application must be completed. Please read about the adoption process (https://www.anewchancear.org/adopt/our-adoption-process/) so you'll know what to expect when you submit. Our dogs are in foster care and we do NOT have a shelter or boarding facility. AN APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED IN FULL AND APPROVED BEFORE A DOG CAN BE MET. This is a firm policy. Our busy volunteers are not able to respond to questions about the dog or dog meeting requests in the absence of an application. We know these dogs very well because they are in foster care. Please read the profiles of the dog(s) you are interested in prior to submitting an application. If there are specific requirements stated (ie: Fenced Yard or Canine Friend Required) these are included because they are vital to the happiness, health, safety and adoption success of that dog. We are only able to save as many dogs as we have foster homes (https://www.anewchancear.org/foster/faqs/) and resources for. We provide medical care including vaccinations, testing, deworming, spaying/neutering and microchipping before transporting our dogs. We provide all supplies, preventatives and any follow up vet care necessary while they are in foster care. These costs are high and the number of lives we can save is entirely dependent upon donations from people like you. We do not receive funding from private foundations or government sources. If you can find room in your heart to help us, with any amount, we are truly grateful (https://www.anewchancear.org/help/donate/). We are a 501c3 organization, so all donations are tax-deductible. It is only through the kindness of supporters like you that we are 'changing lives...one tail at a time' by providing our dogs with 'A New Chance.' (https://anewchancear.org) Thanks so much.
