Story
2 years, 8 months old. Mixed breed. Father was a Great Pyrenees and the mother was Goldendoodle. Crate trained and potty trained. We are not looking for anything specific from someone, only somebody that would have time for her. We were given Nala when she was 6 months old and has grown bigger than expected. We have 2 kids (3 & 1 year old) and they have grown scared of her due to her size. Since we are now paying for day care, 2 mortgages, and other vehicles still being financed, we can no longer keep Nala to keep up with her grooming needs and we hardly have time to walk her since our focus are mainly on our 2 kids. We hope to find somebody that has the time to look after her.

Story
Hi there, I'm Sancho. I may look big and strong on the outside, but deep down, I’m a gentle soul just waiting for someone to love. I was found at a campground, wandering in, hungry and alone. People say it was clear I used to belong to someone—I wasn’t afraid of humans, just cautious. That moment when I slowly approached someone for the first time... it wasn’t just about needing food. It was my way of saying, “I want to be loved again.” I have something called entropion, where the skin around my eyes used to bother me a lot. I had surgery to fix it, and I’m much more comfortable now—but I still get teary-eyed sometimes. A quick daily wipe around my eyes is all I need. I also drool a little because of the extra skin around my mouth, but I stay calm and patient while you clean me up. I’m really easygoing when it comes to care. When I was first rescued, I was unsure and overwhelmed, and I didn’t always get along with other dogs. I preferred being alone. But after spending time at a training center, I’ve learned how to coexist peacefully. Now, I can hang out with dog friends without any issues. I’m a low-energy kind of guy. A couple of short walks a day is plenty for me. I love quiet moments—just sitting near you, relaxing, soaking in the calm. I’m fully potty-trained for outdoor business. I know all the basics—“Come,” “Sit,” “Down,” and “Wait.” I walk nicely on a leash and don’t get overly excited. I rarely bark—maybe once or twice if someone passes close to the fence. I’m totally okay being alone. I don’t get anxious when left by myself. And did I mention? I love food, which makes training super easy! Because I’m not into wild activities, I’d be happiest with someone who enjoys a calm, peaceful lifestyle, someone who appreciates quiet companionship over constant adventure. I may take a little time to open up, especially in new environments. But if you’re patient with me, I promise I’ll show you my heart slowly, gently, and with so much love.

Story
FOSTER OR FORVER HOME NEEDED: Say hello to Milo! Milo is a handsome 6-year-old, 76 lb Golden Doodle mix. He was surrendered by his previous owner when they could no longer care for him, but he’s a resilient dog who’s hoping to start a new chapter in a loving home. Milo has a more aloof and laid-back demeanor, but he’s got a big heart. While he may take a little time to warm up, once he does, he is a wonderful companion. Milo is looking for a family that will provide him with structure and space while still offering love and care. Milo's hobbies include going for walks and exploring the outdoors (though he might pull a bit on the leash), sniffing around and taking his time to enjoy his surroundings, and relaxing in his own space and lounging comfortably. Milo loves to be outdoors, but he can be a fence climber, so he will need a securely fenced yard with a 6-foot minimum wooden fence to keep him secure. He enjoys other dogs, and he would love a home with another dog in it. If you’re looking for a loyal, calm dog who enjoys his walks and downtime, Milo could be the perfect match for your home! He is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $400.

Story
We listed Yeti two months ago, then decided to do some training to keep him in our home. He has shown progress with training but we are just not able to devote the proper time and attention to him that would best suit his personality. Yeti is very family-oriented and friendly with people and animals. He is just a year old and needs more training than we can provide. We are now having a 3rd baby, and he is a dog that would thrive in an environment where he can receive more direct attention than we can give. He has basic young dog behavioral issues such as mouthing, ignoring commands, jumping up to greet, digging, and chewing up. We have had trouble keeping him in our yard securely, and we are very concerned he will be hurt or lost one of the times he breaks out of our old farm fencing. Ultimately, Yeti is very people-oriented and wants to be around us. With two small kids and another baby coming, we don't have the ability to spend the necessary time training him at his age.
