This small brown poodle mix is currently rocking a wild hairdo (and could use a good haircut), but that just adds to her charm! Mud Puddle is a happy-go-lucky gal who adores people and other dogs. She’s always up for an adventure, whether it’s a playful romp, a nice walk, or just hanging out with her favorite humans. She’s thriving in her foster home and is well on her way to being fully potty trained. If you’re ready to add some fun, energy, and lots of love to your life, Mud Puddle is your girl! Apply to meet her today — she can’t wait to wiggle her way into your heart.Pets are complex beings and prior to adoption, interested adopters will be counseled by a staff member to discuss the specific needs for each animal. Story
Our sweet boy Benito is a very loving little guy. He loves giving warm hugs. We’ve had Benito since he was a puppy of 4 months old. Unfortunately due to our newest addition to the family we no longer can have him as part of our family, not because he isn’t great with kids, more so because he’s a protective dog that will bark when someone approaches our home. Including his owners, with a newborn it will not be the ideal situation. We love him dearly and he’s a very sweet loving Champion breed standard poodle. We are looking for a good loving home for our boy.

Aberdeen Scottish Terrier Rescue is a registered 501(c)3 Web Site: www.aberdeenstr.com ***MUST SUBMIT APPLICATION before we will respond to email or phone inquiries. Thank You for your cooperation*** Please read listings fully to the end before applying for one of our beloved rescues. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER; WE ARE AN ALL-VOLUNTEER RESCUE WITH FULL-TIME JOBS. Please do not contact us to look at a dog. We will contact you once we have reviewed your completed application if we think your home might be a good fit. A reference check, phone interview, and home visit will be completed before meeting an adoptable dog. We work quickly. Please do not submit an application until you are ready to bring a new furry family member home. Expect your references to be contacted shortly after submitting your application. We adopt out to homes around WA state & Oregon but require that you are present for the meet and greet in Newcastle, WA. Our adoption fee is non-negotiable. The adoption fee is due on the day of adoption in the form of a check, Zelle, PayPal, if using PayPal the potential adopter will have to pay the fees & charges with PayPal. Soul destroying to think of what she has been through & yet she still loves human beings even after everything they have done to her. Diana along with her 2 other siblings were kept 24/7 in a crate & the breeder here in WA state was not feeding them. She would forget to feed these beautiful souls she said & could not take care for them. 3 of them were kept in a cage at the age of 6 months & when we got them they were so extremely skinny & so matted & stunk so bad & had not been receiving any love nor care & had never ever been to a vet & were consuming their own fecis to stay alive. Yes, you did just read that correctly. We rescued a total of 9 standards from this breeder when she would allow them to leave & instantly got everyone straight to our vets. Our souls were so broken for what Diana had endured & her siblings. Diana & her siblings are all available for a loving devoted forever home now they are healthy & so very loved. Diana is so easy going considering her past life but had to learn what it was like to be in a loving foster home & the normal freedom. At first when she arrived she didn’t know what to do & was uncertain after being kept in a cage. Those days are over for Diana & now she knows she can go wherever she wants. You can find this girl just sitting there taking it all in as she is so grateful. She will just sit there or lay there & watch what you are doing without a care in the world now. We cannot stress enough how lovely Diana is & deserves the most loving home. This girl is so stunning inside & out & she has come along way since we rescued her. We posted her story on social media along with her journey & her siblings. The reality is she had to learn everything with us. She is so forgiving. She just wants you to love her & she will love you back. She adores being hugged & held because the reality is we are the first real people in her life to show her such true love & affection once she has built that trust with you. She adores her foster mum & has gotten cheekier as every day passes. She will put her paws on the kitchen counter & try to eat what is on the benches. In her foster homes she eats a clean diet meaning, raw fruits, vegetables, proteins, grains & different supplements. She loves her bully sticks & collagen sticks too. At first we had to teach her not to eat her fecis as that’s all she knew to survive. We treated her for worms & giradia a few times because of this which was so very sad. Diana is still learning to walk on harness & leash considering we believe we are the first people to teach her how to go on walks but would still need to be taught. Diana has been taught to walk on a slip lead. Diana is a rescue & will need patience, time & understanding. Diana adores being pampered & doesn’t want you to stop when brushing her, cleaning her eyes, grooming her, she loves it all once she knows you. She also does extremely well being touched in general & adores receiving love. In her foster homes she loves beds, blankets & will want to sleep with you if she can. In her foster home she instantly taught herself to walk up hardwood stairs. She is a very smart intelligent girl. She also loves laying near her brother Bentley. We have tested her in a daycare environment & she did well with many breeds & was fostered with puppies & loves puppies. Having toys & a warm bed is all new to Diana & we have been excited to change her world with the introduction of toys & lots of love & affection & a loving environment. She absolutely loves her chew toys now. She is definitely a dog’s dog & likes people too. Diana has learnt to ride in the car & does amazing in the car & does well in the car & enjoys a good car ride. She is such an easy & sweet going, loving little lady. With Diana we are only looking for a crate free home for this lovely little lady only. Please do not apply with the intent to crate this girl, we do not want this again for our sweetheart. We are also looking for a forever home for Diana where someone is home during the day or she can go with her people wherever possibly he can go with them. Did we mention this girl loves a good outfit too. Diana is looking for a forever home who will cherish her & love her as she should be loved & be very patient with her & understanding. Diana has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes & she is currently with other dogs & enjoys their company. She can be found at times snuggled up to her foster siblings or her brother Bentley who she is fostered with. She is a very playful girl & definitely needs a very playful dog in her new forever home. A fully fenced backyard is mandatory for Diana new forever home along with another dog friend if it’s a freestanding dwelling. She can jump a small fence. Please do not apply saying your neighbors have a dog or family members or you will take her to places where there are other dogs. Diana is now roughly 46.5 lbs & is 1 year old & a female standard poodle & what she is mixed with we are not sure? She is spayed by laser & is microchipped, up to date on her shots including DHPP, Bordatella, rabies & dewormed. She had her ears cleaned & meds put into them. We have spent far more on Diana with multiple vet visits between 2 vets, getting her well & her surgeriy without anything else than her adoption fee comes close to covering. Diana has not been around cats since being in the rescue but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals. We have not had Diana with small children so we do not recommend children, but it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children & animals. We were not there when Diana was conceived so we do not know who her parents were & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think her breed is. As with all of our rescues & Diana’s friends she will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Diana potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Diana & going through our process and have read her listing fully to the end & are wanting to adopt. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on & remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a virtual home visit using Zoom to covid & followed by a meet and greet & if it’s a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Diana who understands her needs & that meet all the requirements for this lovely little lady. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives & please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately. Diana has an adoption fee of $1255 & is ready for her truly loving forever home & compassion & understanding of what she has been through.

The big personality of this so dedicated to life & to be adored & loved girl Miss GuiNiu, ended up in a meat market in Mudanjiang & yes you read that correctly. This beautiful girl ended up in a meat market for human consumption after a breeder had used her & then was rescued from there & ended up in another shelter. What we do know is, she was pulled out of there on deaths door with pneumonia so severe it almost took her beautiful precious life. It’s absolutely soul destroying to think about the horrific situation she ended up in. Working with one of our truly devoted, dedicated & absolutely outstanding Chinese rescuers she rescued GuiNiu & many others for us. Without this beloved rescuer going in & getting GuiNiu out, her fate was death alone just from the pneumonia. She transferred GuiNiu to her own rescue & covid had hit & the waiting began. Along with GuiNiu & many other sweet souls she got well & brought back to health which took a very long time as their immunity was so severely compromised from the condition she had been living in & waited to come to the US. This became a very extremely expensive situation with covid. We were finally able to bring everyone back through cargo which is an astronomical expense per dog, but we believe every sweet soul such as GuiNiu & her & friends deserves to be loved & cherished & given the chance to have a wonderful life. Now GuiNiu is looking for a special family to cherish her & be patient with her & remember what this beautiful soul has been through & a family that meets all her needs. GuiNiu was rescued by our truly amazing Chinese rescue friends & just as always we are beyond grateful to the Chinese rescue who we are so extremely grateful for what they do day in & day out for these babies, we cannot thank them enough. GuiNiu was bought back to the USA where she is now a US citizen & is so happy to be here & can’t wait to find her new loving devoted forever home. Considering how deathly ill GuiNiu was in China & on deaths door it’s a miracle she survived along with her friends. To the adventurous big personality, oh so fun & bounds of bouncy energy to the girl she is now. Look out world here comes the ready to go on a hike, run, play beautiful spirited GuiNiu. GuiNiu is looking for a forever home who will walk her, run with her & have lots of adventures. It’s unbelievable to think she survived pneumonia & being in hell at a meat market for humane consumption to who this girl is now, a healthy loving girl who just wants you to give her lots of love, cuddles & affection. She is nothing but so very sweet & affectionate. She has enjoyed eating since she has been here in the US, but let’s face it, being fed the way we are feeding her is all new to her & just being fed all the time is new to her. She has put on weight instantly since being in the rescue. GuiNiu is learning to walk on a harness & leash & done so well with us so far but would still need continued work, as she is so excited when going on her walks, she will pull & is quite strong but is really good. She also does not care about dogs or react to them when at the park. GuiNiu adores being pampered & doesn’t want you to stop when brushing her, cleaning her eyes, grooming her, she loves it all. She also does extremely well being touched in general. GuiNiu is so good with being bathed. We have had her with many breeds of dogs & she has done well with different size dogs & adores dogs so we are only looking for a home for her with another dog in the home she can play with. GuiNiu also did so well with our vets when she went & had her dental. Having toys & a warm bed is all new to GuiNiu & we have been excited to change her world with the introduction of toys & lots of love & affection & a loving environment. This little stunning lady has energy galore, bounds of fun loving energy. She is making up for lost time & who could blame her. She is good with other dogs & we have her with other dogs, in her new forever home there must be a young dog or young dogs for her to play with. GuiNiu has learnt to ride in the car & does well in the car but we always have her with other dogs when in the car. She is such an amazing soul, she will try to stick her head out of the window if you are on the outside as if to say, “why am I not out there with you, let me out, I want to be with you”. She just sits back & enjoys the journey. With GuiNiu we are only looking for a crate free home for this lovely little lady only. We are also looking for a forever home for GuiNiu where someone is home during the day or she can go with her people wherever possibly she can go with them. GuiNiu is looking for a forever home who will cherish her & love her as she should be loved & be very patient with her & understanding. GuiNiu has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes & she is currently with other dogs & enjoys their company so we are looking for a home where she can be with another dog or other dogs in the home in the home as she loves playing with dogs. We currently have her with other dogs. A fully fenced backyard is mandatory for GuiNiu’s new forever home. GuiNiu is now roughly 40 lbs & has put on quite a bit of weight since coming to the US with us, she is 4 years old & perhaps a standard poodle. She is spayed & female, she had a dental/scale & polish, she is microchipped, up to date on her shots, had her shots including DHLPP, Bordatella, CIV, rabies & dewormed. We have spent far more on GuiNiu with bringing her to the US with her travel airfare costs alone bringing her through cargo was over $3000, without anything else then on top of that paying for her medical care & boarding fees, including a dental/ scale & polish, spay, shots, microchip, etc & then bringing her to WA with her transport fees than her adoption fee comes close to covering. GuiNiu has not been around cats since being in the rescue, but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals.
