Hi there! My name is Lio, and I'm excited to share my story with you. I was born around 2018, and my life took a transformative turn in 2024 when I was rescued from an unlicensed breeding facility in Boryeong. Since then, I've been on a heartfelt quest to find my forever home, and I can't wait to tell you more about myself. I'm an affectionate little girl who loves to greet both familiar faces and new friends! With my playful spirit, I'll happily come up to you, nuzzle against you, and enjoy some loving pets. You can even scoop me up and give me a belly rub! While I haven't had much experience with children under 13, I promise to be gentle and kind. When I feel safe around you, I'll show you my belly for a nice rub! I thrive on outdoor activities and have a playful side. I have plenty of experience with walks and I'm great at following my person without pulling on the leash. With my high energy level, I need plenty of fun walks and playtime to keep me happy. After a day of adventure, there's nothing I enjoy more than curling up and relaxing at home. When it comes to my dog companions, I'm friendly and enjoy saying hello, but I'm not much of a player. I can get a little feisty if another dog provokes me, so it's best to keep an eye on me during introductions. While I don't guard my food from people, I might growl if another dog approaches while I'm eating. I also tend to be a bit jealous, which makes me think I'd prefer to be the only pet in the household. I'm still working on building my confidence, especially when it comes to being left alone. I might let you know if I'm feeling a little anxious or if I want something, as I do express my needs with some vocalizations. While I haven't met any cats yet, I'm curious about them! I'm fully trained to use indoor pads and enjoy outdoor bathroom breaks as well. Oh, and I have a bit of a jumping talent! My agility means I could easily hop over low fences, so that's something to keep in mind if you have a yard. Right now, I know how to sit on command, and I'm eager to learn more tricks! I can't wait to find a loving home where I can share my playful spirit and affection. If you're looking for a loyal and energetic companion, I hope you'll consider bringing me into your family. Animal Profile: Meet Barnaby, one cool Pood who's looking for a new leash on life. Barnaby came into the Caddo Parish shelter with an interesting hairdo...it was more like a hair don't. Poor Barnaby was matted to the skin on the bottom and shaved on top. It looks like someone gave up halfway after months of neglecting his coat. He's an estimated 2-year-old boy around 40lbs (we think he is a Sheepadoodle) and this guy is friendly and testing well with other dogs. He is going to fit in great here in Seattle! Foster Update: Barnaby is a loving dog, who enjoys spending time with his people. He appears to be a very smart guy, is treat motivated, and has already learned sit and stay. He is generally calm and quite inside, but has a lot of energy outside and loves to play fetch. Barnaby is crate trained and sleeps through the night. He enjoys walks outside, but does demonstrate some excitement and barking when he sees squirrels and other dogs. We think Barnaby will benefit from strong leadership from his owners and ongoing leash training to help him work on this exuberance. Gracie is 7 years old and is a foster, who originally came from a single owner, elderly home where she experienced some neglect and abuse. She has spent 6 months learning to self-regulate in a safe environment and explore what type of forever home she'd thrive in! Gracie is a very goofy girl. She has "Great Dane energy" and would love someone who can give her lots of attention, enjoys going on walks or hikes, and wants a cuddle buddy. She can off-leash and recall well, absolutely loves tug & fetch, and does not have strong prey drive, so would be fine on a homestead with livestock. She gets along with other dogs that she has time to warm up to (loves playdates!) but would do best as the only pet in the house. She can be jealous of other dogs getting attention. She bonds with men more quickly than women, and while she can be good around kids in a controlled environment, is best in a home without children.

Although he plays well with other dogs of similar size, he also shows signs of adjusting to his environment by controlling is own pace in the process. When taking a walk, he may occasionally pull on the leash but this is usually done in a `moment of excitement. Afterwards, he soon calms down and starts walking slowly. This is a natural way for him to release his energy. Yeondu, who is currently 7 years old, is in good health and he recently had teeth cleaning as well. If you have a good understanding of the personality of poodles, then Yeondu would be the perfect dog for you because yeondu is more than just a poodle, he is ready to be a family member.
