Story
Meet Twix! Part of the 'chocolate litter' born on May 28th to sweet mama Chloe, a lovely white Doodle girl. Chloe was abandoned by her owners and came to us just a few days before she had her pups. She is the most delightful girl and a good mom to all of her puppies. Contrary to mom, the pups were born with mostly black fur. Their coat is soft and fluffy, but not curly like Chloe's. We're not sure who the dad was but these puppies sure are gorgeous! The pups are growing well and are being actively socialized by our cadre of volunteers. They will grow up to be excellent family dogs. They will be ready to go home to their new families at around 8 weeks of age and will have received their first vaccination, microchip and dewormer at that time. Puppies are fun but hard work! They need socialization, training and lots of your attention. They are not able to be home alone for long stretches of time and when they are still very young, are not able to be exposed to their environment until all basic vaccinations have been completed around 16-17 weeks of age. They, pee, poop, chew and make messes all the time and need lots of guidance and understanding when they leave their mom. If you are ready for the challenge, and the reward of having an awesome family member, please apply with us at savinggreatanimals.org Since this litter has 6 puppies, we prefer to schedule meet and greets in the order that applications are received, rather than for one specific puppy. We find that when someone comes to meet one puppy, they often fall in love with another during the meet and greet and then things can get chaotic very quickly if that puppy had an application from someone else. Meet and greets will be set up in order of application received - for example, the first applicant has first pick of the litter, second applicant has second pick of the litter etc. We will arrange all meet and greets to take place over a period of two days when the pups are around 7 weeks old. Adoption fee is $525 per puppy. This includes their first distemper/parvo vaccination, microchip, dewormer as well as their spay/neuter when they are old enough. We prefer to spay/neuter between 8-12 months of age. This is not optional and part of your adoption contract. Please submit your application to savinggreatanimals.org We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495. Thank you for stepping up to save a life! To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon! August 18, 2024, 10:31 pm
