Story
I met Mystic at a pet supply store. A customer had rescued this sweet girl from one of her, not so nice, neighbors but couldn't keep her. Mystic was about 3 months old. I already had 2 dogs and did not want another but also didn't want her placed in a shelter. All 3 dogs get along great. However, Mystic loves to play All the time. My other 2 fur babies are 9 and 4yrs. they love to play with her but not all day. She is likely, a little over a yr. old now. Honestly, I believe, in the long run, she a would be happier in a home preferably with an energetic dog(s), kiddos to play with and room to run. It will break my heart to let her go but I don't want her spirit to be squelched. She gets bored, then gets into mischief. Mystic is SO loving, sweet, loves to cuddle. She uses a dog door, loves to ride, esp. with windows down, play in the sprinkler & chase bubbles. She understands "No", wait, learning to walk on a leash & fetch.

Story
Meet Annistyn, the Majestic Alpha Great Dane! Hey there, dog lovers!  We are thrilled to introduce you to Annistyn, our beautiful and lively six year old Great Dane in search of her forever home. Annistyn is the epitome of grace and strength. She's a stunning, sweet, and loving girl who adores being around her humans. She's a natural-born Alpha, ready to lead her pack with love and loyalty. This majestic girl is known for her impressive jumps, so make sure you have a tall fence to keep her safe and secure while she enjoys her playtime. Annistyn is the life of the party, and she gets along splendidly with dogs Labrador-sized and larger. She loves to make new friends and share her exuberance with them. However, Annistyn does have a strong prey drive and is not a good fit for households with cats or small animals. She's house trained and crate trained, which makes her an all-around good girl. We're looking for an experienced Great Dane owner who can provide Annistyn with the love and guidance she deserves. If you think you're the right match for this magnificent lady, please get in touch with us! Let's give Annistyn the forever home she's been waiting for. Story
Hi there! My name is Champ! I am a 1-2 year old male Anatolian Shepherd mix that weighs approx. 71 lbs. I was found off S. Goliad in Rockwall on 3/30/25 and never reclaimed. So now I am available for adoption and looking for a place to call home! I am a sweet boy who walks well on a leash and is super friendly with everyone I meet. I do prefer my new family be home more often so we can spend lots of quality time together. Being with my people is my happy place. I am interested in all kinds of toys and enjoy a snuggly blanket. I love to run and go on adventures! If you have another dog at home a meet and greet is always suggested prior to adoption to make sure we get along before going home. My adoption fee is $125. I am neutered, microchipped, rabies vaccine, and boosters to date. I did test positive for heartworms but thanks to Rockwall PAWS, I will be able to receive treatment at little to no cost to my adopter. If you are interested in adopting me, please complete an online adoption application on our website at https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ once submitted RAC staff will be in touch with next steps.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Story
Hi! I'm Smokey! I'm an approximately 8 month old, male, fawn Anatolian/Lab mix who weights about 40lbs. I was brought to the shelter on 04/02/2025 with hopes of finding my furr ever home! Shelter staff is not sure what happened in my prior life, but I arrived with a severe injury to my right leg. The injury resulted in an infection that refused to heal. The decision was made to amputate my leg so that the infection did not get worse. I am working hard to adapt to my new way of life and am getting the hang of walking on 3 legs! In spite of the trauma I've endured at such a young age, I am a very affectionate, silly, and playful guy who is looking for a fresh start. I get along with other dogs but a meet and greet is encouraged if you have another pet in the home to make sure we get along. My adoption fee is $125. I am neutered, microchipped, current on my rabies vaccination and basic boosters, and am heartworm negative! If you are interested in making me the newest member of your family, please visit https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ to fill out an application.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX.
