Story
Meet Annistyn, the Majestic Alpha Great Dane! Hey there, dog lovers!  We are thrilled to introduce you to Annistyn, our beautiful and lively six year old Great Dane in search of her forever home. Annistyn is the epitome of grace and strength. She's a stunning, sweet, and loving girl who adores being around her humans. She's a natural-born Alpha, ready to lead her pack with love and loyalty. This majestic girl is known for her impressive jumps, so make sure you have a tall fence to keep her safe and secure while she enjoys her playtime. Annistyn is the life of the party, and she gets along splendidly with dogs Labrador-sized and larger. She loves to make new friends and share her exuberance with them. However, Annistyn does have a strong prey drive and is not a good fit for households with cats or small animals. She's house trained and crate trained, which makes her an all-around good girl. We're looking for an experienced Great Dane owner who can provide Annistyn with the love and guidance she deserves. If you think you're the right match for this magnificent lady, please get in touch with us! Let's give Annistyn the forever home she's been waiting for. Please like, comment and share me so I can go home to my forever family soon!! White Kisses requires all dogs to be in training within thirty days of adoption. Training is crucial for puppies to learn lifelong skills and to understand their place in the family pack. It is also essential part of us getting to know each other and to help me become a well mannered adult GREAT Dane!  For more information about White Kisses adoption process and an application please visit www.whitekissesgreatdanerescue.com/adopt ##1199719##

Hey y'all, my name is Ava Marie and I am looking for my forever couch! Hi everybody. My name is Adeline, I am a Double Merle female and am about seven years young! I am Deaf and mostly Vision Impaired but that does not keep me from being a fantastic Dane. I get along with cats and dogs as long as everyone stays out of my face. Sometimes it takes me a second to realize someone else is right next to me. I would like a fabulous couch to hang out on and a consistent routine at home! You know how some folks are not good with change, well me too! I am learning to navigate the stairs with my wonderful foster mama and soaking up all the love and attention I can get! The folks here tell me I need to be in training within 30 days of my adoption. Basic training is essential for us to learn about each other and to help me become a lovely relaxed Dane! Xena is deaf & has limited sight, she is about 6 years old. She is a sweet girl but she is extremely scared of people, being handled and has separation anxiety. A true southern bell she hates the cold! Because Whitney has no idea of her size we are looking for a home without children and other medium/large dogs. Story
Hi there! I'm an adorable, 86-pound furball who absolutely loves food and people. When I first got to my foster home, I was a bit skeptical of people and sudden moves freaked me out. But now, I've learned that most people are pretty cool and just want me to love on them. I'm sweet as can be, and I adore petting-don't stop or I'll annoy you to no end! I've also mastered the 'go lay down' command and I'm pretty good about following it.I'm a big fan of going on walks, though there are a few things I'm not too keen on. Fast-moving objects like runners, bikers, and motorcycles make me nervous, so watch out! And if we encounter another dog on our walk, you'll see me getting a bit anxious.I'm okay with my crate, especially if you entice me with a treat. I might whine a bit, but once you leave, I'll settle down. Just remember, the crate is for when you're gone-otherwise, I'm happy to be out and about. My foster mom doesn't let me sleep on the bed, and while I understand, I've been known to sneak onto the couch when she's not looking (shh, don't tell her!).There are a couple of things I really don't like: the vacuum and the lawnmower. I think they're out to get me.But overall, I'm a loving and loyal companion who's always ready for some affection and a good walk (as long as we avoid those fast-moving and four-legged things)!Abby is available for adoption in the Dallas / Fort Worth Metroplex. Story
Rikki is very timid, and curious at the same time. She is living with three big boys (bigger than her anyway) and two cats. Rikki is small for a dane (don't think that she will ever make 100lbs), and young, though she fits in with her three senior foster brothers well. She is very pretty, and sweet, so sweet sugar wouldn't melt in her mouth, but she does want to eat everything in site. Velcro dog doesn't begin to describe it. She is attached to foster mom's hip with steel rivits, and if you become her person, you will never be alone. Rikki will let you know when she needs to use the bathroom, but like any girl i have ever known, she doesn't want to go by herself. She does well in her crate, though she doesn't like going in, but once in there, she is good.Rikki is available for adoption in the Dallas / Fort Worth Metroplex. Story
Cookie is being fostered in PA. Hi, I'm Cookie and you are about to fall in love with me. I am such a great puppy. I love to play and snuggle and give my foster mom kisses. My sister is for adoption too but I'm cuter, if I do say so myself! Everyone thinks that I was the runt of the litter but that's okay, I might be small for a Great Dane but I have a big personality to make up for it. I came to BDRA with two owie eyes that are gone now and I feel oh so much better. I can finally run around like a regular puppy and play with all my toys - and I am just a little bit spoiled with all the toys that I have! At night I like to cuddle up in bed with my foster mom and my baby blanket. Sometimes I will even suckle on it in my sleep. Other times I will sleep with one of my babies in my mouth. I don't like being put in a crate but I understand that I have to for my own safety. Just know that I am going to cry and if you live in an apartment, well, your neighbors are not going to like me very much. I am a gentle giant, I am very gentle with my toys but right now I am living with a bunch of little dogs so I don't realize how big I really am. Sometimes my big paws step on them and they don't really like that so maybe my family shouldn't have any little dogs. I just want a family to love me and someone to play with, it can be your dog, or if you don't have a dog, my sister and I get along great. We would love to stay together but don't have to be. I will play with anyone around my size. Right now I'm only 30 pounds but I have a growth spurt coming, I just know it! So those are all the great things about me but my foster mom said that I have to tell you the not so good stuff too. I am still not completely housebroken. When I wake up from a nap I really have to go potty and if you don't get me outside right away I sometimes have oopsies. I also had some tummy issues when I first came to my temporary home. My foster mom tried all types of things trying to figure it out and it seems the stress of moving away from the rest of my litter was a bit too much for me. It takes me a little while to get my tummy all settled but it does settle down. When I eat I am going to try to gobble everything up so my foster mom puts my food in a puzzle bowl that I will take with me and only gives me a little bit at a time. I don't like that very much but she says it's for my own good. After I eat I have belly resting time. My foster mom will lay down with me and rub my belly so I don't get an upset tummy. I'm a very good girl during belly resting time. My foster mom calls me Cookie Puss when I'm being good and Cookie Monster when I'm getting into all those things that puppies like to get into. I would rather chew on your shoe than a toy. If I'm not supposed to play with it, then it's my favorite thing to play with! I am also teething right now so I want to nibble on fingers, toes, your nose, anything that tastes yummy. My foster mom says that she is going to miss me very much but I deserve to live with a family that has another puppy or young dog for me to play with and even a kid or two. BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

Story
Eggnog is around a year old and tries to be the best boy! He is super sweet, smart, gentle, charming and will tell you what he wants. He’s just learning to walk on a leash and is pretty good in the crate. He’s not a huge fan of baths but LOVES playing in the rain. He likes car rides and just learned to sit for pets instead of jumping (though sometimes he is so excited when we get home for the evening he forgets his manners). He is great with kids of all ages though, and with dogs and cats, he doesn’t know how big he is though and doesn’t believe in personal space! He LOVES to run on my property and has made friends with the neighbors horse. He loves being outside so a yard with family and furry friends would be best but, he would probably adjust well with time anywhere with his forever human.
