Story
Goose II is a sweet, silly, snuggly, and adventurous boy who just wants to be your best friend. He loves to chase the ball and go on walks He is very treat-motivated and is great at following simple commands, even better if you have something edible in your hand. Goose is not comfortable around other dogs or small children. Goose is a large boy who has enjoyed having access to a yard and regular walks. He is used to having owners who work outside the house and is comfortable spending time at home alone. Goose’s favorite thing to do is pretend he is a lap dog and sit with us on the couch watching TV. We are sadly having to find him a new home after having our daughter. We hoped Goose would adjust to our little one, but after a year of working with him, we can tell he is still uncomfortable and think he would be happier and safer in a home with no young children. We love him so much and hope he is able to find a home with people who love him as much as we do.

Story
529 days without a forever home. 529 days ago Razoo came into the shelter as a stray and he’s been looking for his place in this world ever since. He survived the streets. He survived the euthanasia list. He survived heartworm treatment. He’s learned what it’s like to live inside a home and that there are good humans out there who won’t hurt him. Now he just needs HIS human to find him🖤. ————————————————————— Razoo is 3 years old, 80 pounds, neutered, fully-vaccinated, microchipped, house-trained, crate-trained, and been treated for heartworms. He has done well with the other dogs in his foster home and loves his person (he will show you how much he loves you by wrapping his long arms around your entire body). When he came into the shelter he was terrified of being leashed. His foster has been dedicated to his training and desensitizing him to collars, leashes, etc. He has made leaps and bounds in his progress and he happily wore a bow tie for his photo shoot and gladly accepted head scratches from the photographer. He is adored by his foster and by everyone who meets him. He’s the epitome of rescue rehabilitation and deserves his happy ending! Please share to help Razoo find his forever home! Fort Worth, Texas area. If you have questions or are interested in meeting Razoo, contact us today!

Story
This is the sweetest girl you’ll ever meet! We adopted her from a shelter so don’t know much about her past but can tell she’s had a ruff one. She’ll be 2 years old at the end of August. She is completely house broken, quiet, very gentle and likes to be lazy during the day. We’ve been working on putting some pounds on as she is a little underweight and is gradually gaining weight. She is very timid and quite skiddish around loud sounds. It will take her time to gain some confidence. She’s has never shown any sign of aggression. She does love people although she is scared and loves pets and to be loved on. She would do best in a quiet home with no small children, or in a home with other dogs as she seems to be more comfortable and outgoing around dogs. We are rehoming her because we have a 4 year old and she’s just not comfortable, we just want her to be happy. She is a very good girl and just looking for love.

Story
DMX is a big, friendly Great Dane mix with a playful spirit and a heart full of love. He's cool around other dogs, but can be selective, He's not a fan of being alone though, showing his anxiety when left by himself, especially in a kennel. He's happiest with his humans nearby, whether he's lounging inside or adventuring in the yard. He does have some separation anxiety and prefer someone who works from home or is around the house a lot to be a loyal best friends to! He's respectful of personal space, not jumping on people, His curiosity gets the best of him outside, where he loves to sniff around every inch of the yard, but he’ll only truly enjoy it if you're out there too. DMX is all about routine, especially when it comes to mealtime—expect reminders at 6:30 on the dot, morning and evening. He thrives on attention and affection, eagerly soaking up every scratch and pet you offer. DMX’s ideal home would have a big, secure yard for his sniffing adventures and someone who understands his need for companionship and patience with his anxieties. A quiet, adult-only home would be perfect, where he can be the center of attention and not worry about competing for affection. If you're someone who loves the outdoors, enjoys being active, and is looking for a loyal, loving companion to share in your adventures (and your heart), DMX could be your perfect match. He promises lots of love, loyalty, and a few good stories to tell along the way.

🐾 Meet Cosmo, our 1.5-year-old Great Dane mix in need of a second chance after being abandoned by his previous family. Despite the heartbreak of being left behind while his housemates got to go with them, Cosmo doesn't let that bring him down and remains a wonderful boy, happy boy. ❤️ Cosmo is quite food motivated and even does a little happy dance when he’s about to get his dinner. He could use a bit of exercise and would love a family who can give him plenty of walks. After all, the more exercise he gets, the more he can eat, right?? If you’re looking for a gentle and loving companion who will bring joy to your home, come meet Cosmo today and give him the second chance he deserves! 🌟

Meet Artemis and Athena! The inseparable bonded pair of 3 year old Great Danes seeking a loving home filled with endless affection. These gentle giants may not realize their own size but make up for it with their overwhelming love for attention. They adore both indoor and outdoor play, especially in a spacious yard that allows them to stretch their legs and run freely. Their favorite pastime is engaging in playful bouts with each other, often seen tugging at toys during their friendly wrestling matches.Athena, the more reserved of the two, can sometimes appear shy or fearful. However, with a patient and nurturing environment, her confidence will blossom, and her gentle nature will shine through. On the other hand, Artemis possesses a vibrant personality and approaches every stranger with an open heart, effortlessly spreading joy wherever she goes. Together, they create a perfect balance, complementing each other's personalities. While they get along with other dogs, Athena and Artemis may thrive best if they are the only two four-legged companions in the household. They have exhibited food aggression at times, but with proper training and management, this behavior can be addressed. These intelligent canines are quick learners and have already mastered house training and crate training. However, they have yet to experience the joy of daily walks, as their current home provides ample space for exercise and play.Athena and Artemis are seeking a forever home that can offer them the undivided attention and care they deserve. Story
Meet Rexi! A 1 year old Great Dane bursting with energy and affection. This gentle giant loves nothing more than snuggling up for cuddles. Rexi happily spends her days alongside her foster siblings, two boxer mixes aged 3 and 8. Although she's intrigued by the resident cat and tries to playfully interact, the feline often scurries away, enticing Rexi to engage in a friendly chase. Rexi is an avid runner, enjoys going for walks, playing with her toys, and taking long naps nestled close to her loved ones. She has mastered a few basic commands like sit and lay down, and she's fully potty trained. However, she can be a bit timid around new things, likely due to her youth and natural caution. Rexi is an exceptional and affectionate dog, seeking an environment filled with love, space to roam, and clear guidance. To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn't obligate you, but it is the first step. Story
Meet Beacon! Beacon is the BEST 1 year and 9 month old boy. He is great with kids of all ages, loves cats and other dogs. He even tries to cuddle with the cats. Has shown absolutely no aggression once so ever. He would do best in a home that has Great Dane or large breed experience due to his size. He does not pull on the leash, and comes when called. Potty trained and sits for treats. He technically is still a puppy, so he does have some puppy chewing behaviors that need to continue to be worked on, but that is the only puppy behavior. He would do best in a home that can give him lots of attention as he loves his cuddles and people to be near him at all times. To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn't obligate you, but it is the first step. Story
Watson is a full bred AKC registered Great Dane. He is nearly three, his welp date is 1-11-21. Watson has been raised with 4 children, a cat and a bearded dragon. He is not bad with children; he just isn't ideal with younger children. He is a very very anxious dog. He has been known to break out of multiple kennels. He often jumps our 8 foot fence. He will, during a thunderstorm, attempt to squeeze himself under our bed. He has been treated for his anxiety with trazadone, this did not work. We tried Acepromazine as well- he was allergic-his whole face swelled up; when given Benadryl he became destructive and more anxious. We have tried puzzles, CBD oil and treats, more activity etc. He is very difficult to redirect when outside; he doesn't follow any command unless he is inside. We have had many incidents of him pulling kids off of swings, four wheelers, tree house ladders etc. It never appears he is being aggressive but almost like he thinks he is saving them. He needs a calm place.

Story
Hello, We found this dog by a highway in Arlington, we’ve had him for a few days and he’s a really sweet friendly dog that does get along with other dogs but sadly we don’t have the time or money to keep him due to already owning a dog. He is not microchipped and I just want him to find a loving home instead of resorting to taking him to a shelter. If you or anyone is interested please let me know! Thank you. ( don’t know what breed he is)
