Meet Max! He’s a lovable giant—a Great Pyrenees German shepherd mix. He’s 2 years old and about 65 pounds. He’s friendly and loving. This big boy has boundless energy and a cheerful personality that will bring joy to any home. He’s house trained and absolutely adores people, especially kids. He was surrendered to us because his previous owner didn’t have a fence and the neighbors were threatening to shoot him.Max is a social butterfly who loves hanging out with other dogs—as long as they mind their manners. He’s all about good vibes and gets along great with friendly, easygoing pups. Rude or pushy dogs? Not Max’s style!With his happy-go-lucky attitude, Max is ready for adventures, snuggles, and a family to call his own. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it.
