Blue Flint Animal Hospital described Bijou as an All American dog, a Heinz 57 combination of breeds, but we think she has some Great Pyrenees in her.  The vet esimated year of birth is 2021. She is shy and would most appreciate a calm environment.  She will need an owner who is patient with her as she learns to trust.  She's very sweet and loves affection. ~~ Adoption donation $300 . Story
Paisley is an  All American dog, a Heinz 57 pup, but there might be some Great Pyrenees in there.  Her vet estimated year of birth is 2021. She's shy and would probably appreciate a calm home, at least until she feels more at home.  She would need patience at the beginning, and lots of love to help her feel more confident in her new home.  Then she'll probably be eager to run and play with her new family. Because she is timid, she might do best as an only dog, or given as very SLOW INTRODUCTION to any other dogs.  She would need someone with experience in dog training to help her gain trust. ~~ Adoption donation $300 . All vetting is up to date. Microchipped and spayed. Also on flea/tick and heartworm preventative.     Copy and paste to view YouTube video: https://youtube.com/shorts/dQmQmdGRbRQ?si=mksZdSndvviuwzPg KoKo is a Great Pyrenees/Hound mix.  Her vet estimated year of birth is 2021.  She weighs about 70 pounds.  She's a little shy, but once she gets to know you, she is your best friend.  She has some energy, so she would do best with a family that is active.  She'd be a great hiking buddy.  Because of her timid nature, she would probably do better in a family with no small children.  She's a great dog.  Give her some patience and love, and you will have a best friend for life.  Because she is timid, she might do best as an only dog.  Or, given a SLOW INTRODUCTION to any other dog.  It would be best if the person has some experience with dog training so that they could help her gain trust. ~~ Adoption donation $300 . Elsa is a sweetheart.  She loves everyone.  She's very much a puppy with puppy power, so you'll need to be patient with her when you're teaching her good doggy manners.  She's very playful. She would need a big backyard where she can run and play.  She loves playing outside.   She does great with other dogs.  She will make the perfect addition to any family.  Her vet estimated birth date is January 2024. ~~ Adoption donation $400 . Story
Our sweet Holly came to us from a breeding situation that was horrid. Sadly, at just 18ms old, this is her second and last litter of puppies! Holly was within days of giving birth and left alone, outside in the elements. On December 21, Holly gave birth to 6 healthy babies. While her babies, have mostly all, found forever homes, Holly is taking applications to find her perfect forever home. She will need time to decompress. Until she came to us, she never knew a warm bed, a warm touch, kisses all day. Her foster mom takes excellent care of her. She gets all of the love and care that she should have had all along. Holly deserves the world... and we hope to find that perfect home for her! Holly is a miniature aussie. She weighs 35# at present. After her milk dries up, she will be around 30-32# Holly will have her vaccines in two weeks, once her puppies are 6 weeks old. They will be weaned. She will be spayed around March 21st. This will be 12 weeks post delivery. Her milk should have dried up by this time. She can still be adopted... she will just go out on a spay contract and be spayed by one of our vet partners (we have all over NC and in VA). Holly is pee pad trained. She is terrified to go outside. We fear that this is from being left outside with no shelter, food or water, most days. She is a sweetheart, but she will need love and patience. If interested in Holly, please go to our website and complete the adoption application https://acfrescue.weebly.com/adoption-foster-and-volunteer-applications.html Adoption fee: $500. Covers all vaccines, vet care (while in our care), spay and chip
