Story
Meet Cupid, who comes to us from the Rowan County Animal Shelter. Cupid is an 83 lb., Pyrenees/Lab mix and approximately 8 years old. He was in an accident and was hurting pretty badly, when a kind stranger found him in a ditch and got out of his truck and took Cupid to the shelter. He is recovered now and is doing great. He does tilt his head a bit, but this is just one thing that makes him more adorable. Cupid tends to be clumsy at times, due to his head injury, and is heartworm positive. He has received his Proheart shot and Doxy procedure, which we will continue until he tests negative. This boy wants so much to be loved and is very smart. Cupid is housetrained and does require a fenced in yard. He does have a bit of separation anxiety when left alone (likely from his trauma) and loves to be with his person. He shows zero aggression to people, kids, other dogs, and is nothing but a gentle giant. He would be a wonderful addition to your family. If you are interested in Cupid, please reach out to us for an application.

Story
Jethro is almost 3 years old. He is a great pyrenees/anatolian shepherd mix He came from a family lifestyle to a farm lifestyle. He is not adjusting to the farm life. The constant space invasion from the goats causes Jethro anxiety. He doesn't like to share his food. He needs his space to eat, he doesn't eat it all in one sitting.. he likes to graze. He knows some commands and loves walk and car rides. He needs someone with a yard so he can play and be inside with his person(s). He loves the rope balls. He loves attention. He loves car rides. He knows all sorts of commands He has the best goofy personality We are working on the anxiety but feel it is best to have him in a family or couple environment. He is in his own play area but he desires more interaction. He just wants his person(s) to be near.

Blue Flint Animal Hospital described Bijou as an All American dog, a Heinz 57 combination of breeds, but we think she has some Great Pyrenees in her.  The vet esimated year of birth is 2021. She is shy and would most appreciate a calm environment.  She will need an owner who is patient with her as she learns to trust.  She's very sweet and loves affection. ~~ Adoption donation $300 . Paisley is an  All American dog, a Heinz 57 pup, but there might be some Great Pyrenees in there.  Her vet estimated year of birth is 2021. She's shy and would probably appreciate a calm home, at least until she feels more at home.  She would need patience at the beginning, and lots of love to help her feel more confident in her new home.  Then she'll probably be eager to run and play with her new family. ~~ Adoption donation $300 .
