Story
We adopted Koda from the Spca at 6 months old - his birthday is March 25 2023 so just a little over a year old. He came from an abusive home prior so he is very timid in general especially around some men, it takes a while to warm up. He gets along and plays with my mother’s small pomeranian but seems scared of other dogs at first. He has a lot of energy and needs a yard. Is semi leashed trained but seems afraid of leash as well. Is crate trained and will send with all supplies. Is house trained. Does not bark excessively at people at all. Only barks during play or when excited. Does enjoy rough play but has never been aggressive or mean with myself or my children. Just does not realize how big/strong he is. Needs someone who can pour into him and make him comfortable and help him with his energy. We have already moved and he is staying with a family member temporarily so need him rehomed ASAP. Thank you!

Story
Beckham is a 9-month-old Husky/cattle dog mix. He has had 2 professional training sessions, he is good with cats (he sometimes likes to chase but is never aggressive), great with kids, and amazing with other dogs. He would do GREAT in a home with another dog that could help him get his energy out. He does need a lot of exercise so a home with a yard would be a great fit. He is potty trained and even uses a bell or talking buttons to tell you when he wants to go potty or eat. He is also pretty good on a leash as long as he isnt overly excited he walks with slack on the leash. He is fully vaccinated, including the rattlesnake vaccine, microchipped, neutered, and comes with all of his things; food, toys, treats, crate, brushes, etc. He would make a wonderful addition to any family as long as they have the means to get him the exercise he needs!

Story
My Adoption Fees is Waived!Meet Thundarr B. He has been at the Shelter for a while, but seems to be extremely resilient. This beautiful dog can be a strong puller on leash but has learned to walk on a side kick leash (similar to gentle leader) and is doing much better. He loves frolicking in the shelter yards, playing fetch and splashing in the kiddie pools. He can be jumpy and mouthy when off leash and will likely be better suited to a home with adults and dog savvy teens until he has time to decompress from the stress of shelter life. He recently went on a field trip with a volunteer and here is what they said: He was easy to load into the car and a great passenger - sometimes curious about what was going on up front, but otherwise calm & quiet. On the way back to the shelter, he slept most of the way. During his outing, he was a low-to-medium energy dog. He wasn`t jumpy, nor did he bark. He`s a great hiking buddy and would be a great addition to an active family with older kids who can continue working on his mouthiness and love for scavenging.Thundarr B. has participated in shelter playgroups with high energy dogs and may enjoy a compatible high-energy canine friend in his new home.Looking for a buddy for your dog?  Bring him/her to the shelter for a meet and greet and see if we`re a match!  Check out his playgroup video below:To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. My Adoption Fee is Waived!Hi there! I`m Rocky! I love running around & going on adventures ! As a curious pup, I love exploring new places and sniffing out new smells. When we`re out on a walk, I love helping with doors - just give me the command, and I`ll get us outside ! As a treat-motivated pup, I`ve mastered basic commands like `sit`, `stay`, `shake`, and `down`! I know pulling on the leash can be annoying, but I`m still learning to walk nicely. With treats and attention, I promise to be on my best behavior. If you`re ready for an energetic companion who loves the outdoors and having fun, come meet me today!Rocky recently met a social female dog at our shelter.  He did not want to engage with her much or play.  Here`s a video of their interaction:To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. Story
My Adoption Fee is Waived! This beautiful, young, striking, brown and white sweetheart has been at the shelter way too long, and we can`t figure out why. When she first arrived, she was a bit shy but has warmed up to the other dog residents since her arrival, thanks to playgroups. Since she has become comfortable, Margot  ALWAYS tells us what she is thinking, living up to her Husky `talking` reputation.  She likes to stay close to her people while out and about, and is bouncy, well- mannered and very smart.  Just wait to see how quick she will sit when a treat is involved ! Ask to meet her in a yard today and get to know this special girl.Margot has participated in shelter playgroups and we think she may enjoy a compatible canine friend in her new home.  Looking for a buddy for your dog?  Bring him/her to the shelter for a meet and greet and see if we`re a match!  Check out her playgroup video here:Check out more photos of me here:To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm.
