Story
We are so excited to present our beautiful Husky mix girl.named Asia to a gentle and loving family.  This beautiful girl with the most stunning blue eyes, has risen from some very difficult times in her life. After having raised a beautiful litter of puppies.  Asia is 2 years old and weighs 47 pounds. She is eight very sweet natured girl who has just discovered toys and the joy of hearing them squeak as she plays with them.   She is living in a foster home with a senior Australian. Shepherd mick's mail and she is very respectful of his age in his calmness. Asia loves to go for walks and is very good on the leash and extremely good in the house when her foster, mom is gone to work. Asia checks all the boxes. When it comes to being a good girl, that is housebroken, knows good house manners and shares her living space sweetly with a gentle, senior dog.  When she looks at you with those beautiful blue eyes, she has so much to say from the depth of her soul. Asia has always longed for a home of her own, and people that were kind to her. She didn't have this in the past and Critter, Cavalry took her and her puppies from a bad situation and promised her a new start with a very special life.  We are searching high and low for that now.  Asia is not a high energy girl, nor is she a big barker or noisy talker.  She is a fun girl to have around and very easy going. She is not an anxious girl at all. If you are looking for a dog that will adore you and be grateful every day for what you give her, please consider adopting her.  Write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com and mention where you live, city and state. PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJanuary 6, 2025, 7:38 pm

Story
Please contact Jodi Rosenberg (jodi.rosenberg@luckydoganimalrescue.org) for more information about this pet.handsome heterochromatic boy ISO his family! MR. PEABODY NEEDS A FOREVER     Name:  Mr. Peabody        Best Guess for Breed:   Husky and shepherd mix  Best Guess for Age:   4 years as of November 2024     SEX:  Male   Approximate Weight: 50 lbs   Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven't seen him with kids but he can be tested. That blue eye likely indicates some husky in him, and huskies tend to go after cats. Mr. Peabody needs to go to a home without cats.   Currently Living at:  DC area boarding partner - would love a foster while looking for his forever home!!   Mr. Peabody is Looking For:  His forever home! He ended up in the shelter due to no fault of his own and he's eager to just have his own humans once again. He's in his prime and looking forward to long sniffy walks, world exploration to burn all that awesome dog energy. And all that good stuff that comes with being a well-loved dog too - yes, please! He's out of the puppy yips and well established - he knows what's important in life. Being safe and under his own roof, quality kibble and a decent dog bed, and snugs with his humans at the end of a good, active day together. What do you say? Can you offer that in exchange for this handsome boy's adoring gazes and loyal companionship? What My Foster Says About Me:   Mr. Peabody loves to walk, explore, and play, and wants to meet every dog and person he sees. He is unperturbed by anything; people (including kids), dogs, traffic, scooters, bikes, etc. He also enjoyed his outing to the dog park! He is curious and playful with other dogs. He met some children while on his walk too! He needs time to run and play on a daily basis to get some energy out. He is a sweet boy! Mr. Peabody was a real gentleman on his outing. He got along well with his walkers' dogs and had good leash manners.  Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT:      The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. BRONWEN NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!   Come meet Bronwen and other great adoptable dogs this Sunday (1/12/25) from 12-3 pm at the PetSmart in Rockville, MD (5154 Nicholson Ln, Kensington, MD 20895)!   Name: Bronwen          Best Guess for Breed:  Huskey mix    Best Guess for Age:  2 years as of 12/16          SEX:  Female   Approximate Weight:  33.6lbs   Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven't seen Bronwen with cats or kids but she can be tested.   Currently Living at:  DC area foster home   Bronwen is Looking For:   Her forever home! This beautiful girl hopes her beautiful blue eyes and adorable face will draw you in and make you want to meet her! She's looking for a family that will take her on lots of neighborhood walks and other adventures. She'd love to take a training class or two to show you how smart she is too! What do you say? Do you have room in your heart for this stunning pup? What My Foster Says About Me: She is very treat motivated and kind of cuddly too. She really is adorable. I have had her with a bunch of dogs and if she gets corrected by them she does listen to their queues. At events she has been wonderful with kids of all ages. She plays with toys or finds a place to lay down. She is not much of a talker or barker, you can get her to talk but she isn’t a typical husky in that sense. Great house guest.    Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT:      The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
