Story
4 year old Siberian Husky, originally rescued in Kansas and Iowa. Adopted by our son's girlfriend, and spent 1 1/2 years with them. They have since gone separate ways and we now have the dog and looking for a good home. We have 2 other rescued dogs and they have gotten a long wonderfully over the month he has been with them. He is sweet and loves attention. Enjoys his walks and is good on lead. He is strong and getting better with squirrels and rabbits. Is intelligent and doing better with commands. Is house broke and has not had accidents in the past 2 years that he has been known to us. He has gone to dog parks and has not gotten into any fights and gets along with other dogs. Looking for a loving home where he can get walks and exercise. Loves being part of the family. He is a wonderful companion.

Super sweet female husky Shepherd Mix UTD on everything, negative heart worm test results, spayed as of 01/14/2025 Potty trained and good on leash and a good car rider. I am rehoming her because I took on more then I can handle with already having 3 dogs and her and my picky husky do not like one another. I have had her for about 6 months and she has been good with my 3 children and good with my cats and other two dogs.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. King is in the Rescue!! This guy is a handsome 7-year-old Siberian Husky. King came to this rescue, as a surrender. His past owners did not understand Huskies dispositions before getting him. King basically he ruled the house, had no manners liked to growl when he didn’t want to do something, he pulled on the leash and he did not like a crate. Now king walks well on a leash. Loves his crate and has learned his basic manners but most importantly he now understands that he cannot be the Alpha. King needs an experienced Dog owner who can continue to provide structure. King needs a person(s) whom understands that he has had an unstructured past and will continue to give him a structured environment. Kings ideal home would be a   house with adult(s) and old children, along with a yard completely enclosed by a 6 ft. fence and a nice  bed on the floor he does not like sitting on the couch.    King intermingles with our pack with no desire to be the alpha. He is independent and likes to play with a few choice dogs.  King likes to play with his foster parents, doesn’t like balls or toys. He does likes to be loved and cuddled but when he had enough, he walks away. Oh!!! and King loves to be Brushed!!  He is really is a Great Dog!! ( up date) king has been returned after being adopted because of bitting a family member. He has shown no signs of aggrestion since coming back for the last year.  King has been back over a year and has not shown any signs of aggression. Having a play mate would be helpful he like to play with other dogs his size. Up date King is very well behaved and is like by the entire  neighborhood. He plays will children and everyone he meets. I am not sure if he ever bit anyone. He love walks and meeting everyone he comes in contact with. He has warmed up to children and plays with my  grandchildren. When we go for walks all the kids know him now and love to pet him. King no longer sleeps in a crate but sleeps on a bed next to the other dogs. He also love to be brushed witch you must do with a Husky. If you are interested in finding out more about King, please submit an application.     www.FureverHomeRescue.Dog &#226&#128&#139 Assessment: Purple (See our code assessment page on our web site for more Info)  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.    October 23, 2024, 12:06 am

Story
Meet Koda. He is a 2 year old Husky, shepherd mix and who knows what else! He's a happy, playful, goofy guy who will steal your heart. He is great with older kids. He loves to play but also loves snuggling in bed with you. He’s an amazing pup and would benefit with a house with a yard. He is being fostered in the west palm beach area Florida. For more up to date information on this dog please go to our website @ https://www.playk9rescue.org/adopt-a-dog The adoption fee for this pet covers the cost of care and training which may have been for several weeks or several months depending on the health and training needs. The fee also covers all vet bills during this time to ensure his/her health is improved or maintained and provides you with assurance that this dog has been well cared for while in our possession and evaluated to meet your home's needs. Included in this fee is also life- long training support provided by PLAY! K9 Academy located in Bradenton, FL as well as Life time microchip registration. When you adopt from a local shelter, you may not receive any medical history for this dog nor will you receive any behavioral history. We hope you understand that the minimal adoption fee we are asking is to continue our mission to rescue unwanted herding and working breeds from shelters/owners and get them adopted to their forever home. Please note, we will not approve an adoption to individuals or families residing in rental apartments. Typically, apartment complexes have pet policies on restricted breeds and weights which includes German Shepherd Dogs, Belgian Malinois, bully breeds, etc. These dog breeds are not breeds that will thrive in an apartment setting regardless of the management pet policy. Our adoption policy is non-negotiable.

Story
Milton is a few yr old Husky mix who is fiercely Velcro. While walking we are working on not being so close that he won’t push the handler over. He is a typical husky smart with a wild side and he will need a handler willing to issue soft fair corrections. He will be best in a home that is devoted to him, no small children, no cats, no other dogs. He walks well on a leash especially with a handler he has bonded with. He knows his commands, and does well in training, although he can get distracted and needs someone who will continue to work on his handler orientation. He will do great in a home where he can be a part of everything, he is crate trained but will definitely let you know if you’ve been away too long for his liking.
