AVAI'm just a young girl with the most striking topaz eyes, and beautiful red coat. I prefer to be with women, because men can make me somewhat nervous. It may take me time to warm up to you, but once I do, I promise you will have a friend for life.I am currently working with a trainer to help build my confidence, and let my lovely personality shine. As for my heritage, well I'm part Husky, so I'll need a secure fenced yard and due to my shyness no children please.DOB 12/27/2020 53 poundsI'm waiting for a home to call my own. email webmaster@petrefuge.com to learn more about me or fill out an application at https://www.petrefuge.com/adoptPet Refuge was formed in 1978 to help with cats and dogs in need of homes. Story
Trip is waiting for an owner who is willing to enjoy his energy and provide outlets to exercise both his mind and body. He is somewhat insecure so an owner that is confident would be ideal for this adolescent. Trip loves life, and everything around him. He simply just needs to learn some boundaries when it comes to personal space, and expressing his enthusiasm. Remember he is still a puppy. Trip has a tremendous amount of potential to be a wonderful member of someone's family. He is also quite handsome. Trip is a mix of husky/shepherd and will need a fence.DOB 1/15/23 46 PoundsI'm waiting for a home to call my own. email webmaster@petrefuge.com to learn more about me or fill out an application at https://www.petrefuge.com/adoptPet Refuge was formed in 1978 to help with cats and dogs in need of homes. Did we mention how beautiful she is with her one blue eye and brown eye? Well she is gorgeous. Maya has all the husky traits, so a fenced yard is a must. At this time she hasn't met any children so we are unsure, though our best bet is older children. Story
At eight months old, adoptable Millie is amazingly well-behaved and is so smart! She knows how to sit, stay, come, shake, spin, leave it, and lay down. Millie's foster mom says that she picks up on new behaviors so quickly and can really learn anything anyone is willing to teach her. Not only is Millie a straight A student, but she has done totally awesome with all of her furry foster-siblings...dogs, cats, and bunnies! Millie would love to meet you a time or two before you get to the move-in-together stage. She takes time to trust new people, especially men, but once she trusts someone, she fully trusts them; please give her time to get to know you. Because Millie can be fearful, we would love to find an adopter for her who has experience with helping pups like her become more confident. She's done great with being house-trained in her foster home. She's just a gem of a puppy. She's spayed, so call us at 219-872-4499 to adopt Millie! She is currently in a foster home.

Story
Hong Kong Fuey came to us from a breeding kennel who relinquished him by no fault of his own. He simply got too old for a pet store. This is an extremely sweet boy who is good with people & other dogs. He would benefit from some basic obedience and confidence building because he is a puppy. He has never been in a home and everything is new to him. His birth date is 11/05/23 and he currently weighs 42#. This pet will not be adopted out for protection. We will require that he goes to an obedience course to make certain  he is socialized and a good community member. He has been vet. checked, neutered, micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings including rabies, and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol. His adoption donation is $600 and needs to be cash, certified check, money order or a debit/credit card. There is a 3% processing fee when using a debit/credit card.  Any extra funds collected in his adoption donation not used for his vetting, will go into our general vetting fund for other dogs in need. We do not ship or transport. Please email for an application if you would like to provide this nice kid with his forever home. ##2075050##

Story
Hi, my name is Mishka! I'm a pretty black Chow Chow. I've been with my foster mom for almost 2 months now. I enjoy chewing on natural chews and playing with plush toys. My foster mom isn't sure if I am hard of hearing or not, but it has made walks a bit hard by increasing my reactivity when on walks. I get too focused when I see cats, so foster mom says no cats for me! If I had to live with another dog, this princess would rather prefer a laid back male. I would love to go visit a sniffspot location so I could decompress or have a home with a privacy fence so that I could have fun in my backyard and not worry so much about other animals. I am more independent, so if you're not a big cuddler and just like to coexist near one another in the same room, I'm your gal! I am crate trained. I got to my crate easily while foster mom is at work and it's bedtime. I eat my food in my crate and it's my safe place. I really can't wait to find my forever people. I hope to see you soon!    Birthday 4/22/2018 - spayed - adoption fee $250 - no cats - prefers laid back male dogs around her size - more independent in nature, not the biggest fan of cuddles - house broken (has marked inside new environments but hasn't had any accidents in several weeks) -  crate trained    Fill out an application at all4animalsrescue.org  ##2045104##

Story
Hey, my name is Kitsune! I'm a beautiful red headed Chow Chow. I am a people kind of dog. My foster mom says I'm a bit too much for cats and wouldn't prefer me to live with them. In my idea home, I'd love if I just didn't have to worry about other animals. I love my people, spending time with them, and cuddling them. I'm getting better with my resource guarding regarding food, and I'm fed in my crate. It's my safe place! I am crate trained and will crate up easily while foster mom is at work and during bedtime. When it comes to chews, I prefer natural ones like hooves, ears, etc. I'm not the biggest fan of toys right now. I am house broken besides the occasional marking on my blanket in my crate. I love food and my food motivation has helped me in my reactivity journey while on walks. When I see other people, I like to talk to them. I really can't wait to meet you and show you how pretty I am and then you can hear me talk!    Birthday 10/23/2019 - spayed  - adoption fee $250 - no cats - no dogs  - professional cuddler  - crate trained  - house broken   Fill out an application at all4animalsrescue.org  ##2045103##
