Story
AVAI'm just a young girl with the most striking topaz eyes, and beautiful red coat. I prefer to be with women, because men can make me somewhat nervous. It may take me time to warm up to you, but once I do, I promise you will have a friend for life.I am currently working with a trainer to help build my confidence, and let my lovely personality shine. As for my heritage, well I'm part Husky, so I'll need a secure fenced yard and due to my shyness no children please.DOB 12/27/2020 53 poundsI'm waiting for a home to call my own. email webmaster@petrefuge.com to learn more about me or fill out an application at https://www.petrefuge.com/adoptPet Refuge was formed in 1978 to help with cats and dogs in need of homes. Story
Trip is waiting for an owner who is willing to enjoy his energy and provide outlets to exercise both his mind and body. He is somewhat insecure so an owner that is confident would be ideal for this adolescent. Trip loves life, and everything around him. He simply just needs to learn some boundaries when it comes to personal space, and expressing his enthusiasm. Remember he is still a puppy. Trip has a tremendous amount of potential to be a wonderful member of someone's family. He is also quite handsome. Trip is a mix of husky/shepherd and will need a fence.DOB 1/15/23 46 PoundsI'm waiting for a home to call my own. email webmaster@petrefuge.com to learn more about me or fill out an application at https://www.petrefuge.com/adoptPet Refuge was formed in 1978 to help with cats and dogs in need of homes. Story
Do you need a companion that loves to sing? Well then Maya might be the girl for you. This husky loves people and is not afraid to show you how much. She is a young girl and is full of energy. Did we mention how beautiful she is with her one blue eye and brown eye? Well she is gorgeous. Maya has all the husky traits, so a fenced yard is a must. At this time she hasn't met any children so we are unsure, though our best bet is older children. Story
Meet Hoss! He is 2 years old and about 55#. Hoss is a Husky - Shepherd mix. Hoss came to us after he could no longer be cared for where he was living, as an outside dog. Although he loves to be outside, he will likely adjust to being an indoor/outdoor dog.   Hoss can be a bit shy with new people and things, but he is overall friendly. He is a funny guy and loves to play! Hoss knows sit and shake. He will go after a ball and bring it partially back to you, so is halfway there on the fetch part!  Hoss will need to be kept on a schedule for getting into a regular potty routine. He does fine when let out here through the day every few hours. He is friendly when meeting other dogs through kennel doors. However, Hoss wasn't properly socialized with other dogs as he grew up and is scared of them it seems. He will most likely be fine with another low energy dog, that doesn't get in his face or jump on him when not expecting it. It will take him time, understanding and patience to adjust to a new home.   Hoss is overly interested in cats and it is best there aren't any in his new home, He should be fine with kids.   Hoss is neutered, Heartworm and Lyme negative, current on vaccines and monthly prevention. ~ $0 ADOPTION FEE THRU 8/31/24!!   If you are interested in meeting and adopting, please submit an application in person or here: https://www.fultoncoanimalcenter.org/application-to-adopt-a-dog Once submitted our staff will review and then contact you to set up a meet & greet! Any other dogs in the home must come for the meet & greet as well! If it's a match, he can go home on the same day.    Closed Sunday/Thursday    11-4 Saturday/Monday   11-5 Tuesday/Friday    11-6 Wednesday ##2084345##
