My foster mom keeps asking to hear my beautiful husky singing, but I’ve been too shy to show her my skills so far. Eating is my favorite activity (though the vet says I need to cut back on the snacking, oops). Once I trust my humans, I will stick to them like glue. I am more than happy to lay around on my bed all day, but the second you get up I want to be where the people are and will follow you wherever you are going.I love going on walks and I have been told I have spectacular leash skills. New people make me nervous, so I do best when meeting them in neutral spaces where I can decide to approach them on my own terms. But once we are friends, we are friends for life (especially if you give me treats). I thrive best in an environment that provides structure and reinforces boundaries. I like it when the humans in my life show me that they are in charge because it makes me feel taken care of and I know I don’t have to worry about anything because they will advocate for me out in the world.I am fully house trained and crate trained, although sometimes I like to hit you with the sad eye smolder so you give me a little treat for going in my crate. Story

Shadow is a 5 y/o all white female husky with a lot of energy, she is bonded to her sister Storm (6y/o also looking to be adopted) and would most likely not do well if separated. At this time, we have found a foster home for the girls and are only accepting candidates willing to rehome both girls. The girls are outdoor dogs and require at least 6-8 hrs. a day of outdoor time. Shadow is about 45lbs of fluff and house trained although occasionally has accidents and can be behavioral. Shadow is medicated and on Prozac which she takes once a day with her food for depression. She does well with children and has never shown any signs of aggression. The girls are huskies and very high energy pets. They require someone who has experience with dogs. Shadow specifically is an escape artist and has broken out of enclosures while also on a wire lead inside the enclosure (yes, she broke a wire lead with her neck) and then proceeded to go on an adventure with her sister.

Story

Storm is a 6 y/o grey and white Siberian Husky (45lbs). She is bonded to her sister Shadow 5 y/o and most likely will not do well if separated. At this time, we have found a foster home for the girls and are only accepting candidates willing to rehome both girls. Storm is very well behaved, and house trained. She is always happy and enjoys playing outside with her sister but can also be calm and enjoys cuddles. She is an outside dog and requires 6-8 hours a day of outdoor time. She does well with children and other dogs but can be food aggressive only with Shadow (she has no aggression towards humans and will let you take the treat out of her mouth but if Shadow does it, she gets upset). The girls are huskies and are very high energy pets, they require someone who has experience with dogs. Story

Monte is a sweet, 4 year old husky/cattle dog mix. He loves people, playing outside, going for walks, and snoozing next to you on the couch (and of course his favorite thing in the world, eating). Monte was adopted from the Northeast Animal Shelter when he was 4 months old. He was displaced from his original home in Texas, we believe as a result of the freezing which occurred in Texas during that time which caused many homes to flood. With a new baby on the way, we are unfortunately able to keep Monte. While he is a sweet boy, he does not like it when people take his food or toys away from him, and we are worried this may be an issue with a toddler. He does have an history of a bite incident which we believe was entirely preventable (someone tried to take his food away). We worked with a very reputable trainer who also supports that does not display any tendencies of an aggressive dog, and any behavior should be entirely manageable by an experienced dog owner.

Tobi is a spunky guy with lots of energy and personality to match! He loves to run around in the yard and does a good job of entertaining himself by throwing his toys around. Tobi seems to like other dogs, but can be a bit too much for them, so helping him find appropriate friends will be a good idea. He has also lived with kids, but can be a bit of a bulldozer. Tobi would likely do well in a home that can continue to work on his training and give him structure in his life.
