Story
Nala is a sweet, loving, & very caring dog. She loves belly rubs, and to play fetch. She’s very smart, & is a pretty lazy girl! She loves to lay around and sun bathe in front of the window. She is not overly energetic like some huskies can be, & she is very mild mannered & has the temperament you want in a dog. She is 5 years old, & in all around good health. We are saddened to have to rehome her as we are moving, but we hope to find the best family to give her a new home.

Story
Artemis has been with us for 5 years. She is 5 and a half years old. She is a mild mannered husky, she is house broken and somewhat leash trained. She enjoys sitting at the bay window, going on hikes and bike rides. She spends all day with her brother and they like it when we play catch and tug-a-war with them in the back yard. Our hope is that she goes to a home with someone who enjoys the outdoors and has time to dedicate for play time.

Story
**Zeus is under 1 year of age and not part of the fee waived adult dog event August 20-24** Meet Zeus, the pint-sized husky with a heart full of energy and a knack for keeping you on your toes. At just 5 months old, Zeus is smaller than most huskies, but don't let that fool you-he's packed with personality. Given his boundless energy, he'd do best in a home with another dog who can help him burn off steam. Zeus needs a household with older teens who understand his play style and won't be overwhelmed by his high-energy antics and mouthy behavior. Zeus hasn't quite mastered the art of walking on a leash yet, but with some patience and practice, he'll get there. His zoomies are something to behold, especially when he barrels into you with all the enthusiasm his little body can muster. Zeus is a bundle of hyperactivity who can get mouthy when he's feeling playful, so he needs a family that can keep up with his spirited nature. While husky experience is a plus, it's not a deal-breaker. What Zeus really needs is someone who appreciates his quirks and is ready to guide him into becoming the best version of himself. If you've got the energy to match his, Zeus might just be the perfect fit for your family. If you're ready to adopt within the next 24-48 hours and want to learn more about, meet, or adopt this pet, you can start the process in one of two ways: Come in during open adoption hours Tuesday - Saturday 12:30p-3:00p. For in-shelter pets (not in foster care) coming in ASAP is the fastest way to adopt! **OR** Click on the pink "Adopt me" button to submit an adoption inquiry. Watch your email for a response from us! Adopting through this process will take several days and highly desirable pets are likely to no longer be available. PLEASE NOTE: Adoption inquiries are not holds or reservations. Pets are adopted by the first person we talk with who is a good match for the pet's needs. Multiple inquiries are accepted for each pet. All adult dog adoption fees include; -spay/neuter -rabies and kennel cough vaccinations -current parvo/distemper vaccines (may need additional boosters with your veterinarian) -microchip implanted & registered to adopter -treatment of fleas & ticks -veterinary exam and health certificate at Dakin -free vet exam within 30 days of adoption with participating veterinarians Most pets have also received other medical care while with us. Your veterinarian may recommend additional health care for your pet.
