Story
Meet Milo, the lovable and energetic Husky with a heart as big as his paws! With his striking blue eyes and thick, fluffy coat, Milo is a true embodiment of Husky charm. Known for his playful nature and friendly demeanor, he’s always ready to chase after an adventure or snuggle up for some downtime. A classic Husky, he’s got a ton of energy and loves to run, play, and explore the great outdoors. But when the fun winds down, he’s just as content curling up with his favorite human and soaking up all the affection he can get. Milo’s intelligence is matched only by his mischievous side—he loves to keep you on your toes, especially if there’s a door he can open or something fun he can find. Despite his independent streak, he’s fiercely loyal and always wants to be part of the action, whether it’s hiking, playing in the snow, or just hanging out around the house. Whether he's running full-speed with the wind in his fur or giving you a gentle nudge for attention, Milo is sure to bring joy and love to anyone lucky enough to call him family. Milo's adoption fee is $400 plus MN tax which covers his neuter, vaccinations, microchip and any additional medical care he may have needed while in the rescue’s care. We are a foster based rescue, we do not house dogs at a facility. Age and breed are NLR's best guess as we often don't know who or what mom and dad are. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website. www.northernlakesrescue.org

Story
Meet Lady, a smart and cuddly senior pup with the sweetest bear ears you can't resist! Her beautiful coat and eyes will melt your heart. Lady is house-trained and after settling in, she'll sit by the door to let you know when it's time for a bathroom break. She walks wonderfully on a leash and is working on mastering her sit command, especially when treats are involved! Lady is great with kids and people, and she loves belly rubs and playing hide and seek with her humans. While she can be protective of her food and bones, she’s respectful and will find a secret spot to stash her treats until she's ready to enjoy them. She's perfectly happy with other dogs as long as they respect her space, particularly when food or bones are involved. Lady would thrive in a home as the only dog or with a mellow older dog who shares her calm nature. She’s a loyal and loving companion who’s sure to bring joy to any household! Lady's adoption fee is $300 plus MN tax which covers her spay, vaccinations, microchip and any additional medical care she may have needed while in the rescue’s care. We are a foster based rescue, we do not house dogs at a facility. Age and breed are NLR's best guess as we often don't know who or what mom and dad are. This absolute cutie is a 3-month-old Siberian Husky mix who came to the shelter all the way from Texas with his best buddy Apache! These two are not littermates, but they sure act like it. They love to run and play with one another and will speed past you like bullets until they’re ready to land in your lap for snuggles. Tosca and Apache are darling pups who are so intelligent and ready to love and learn! These two are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated to age. Story
Don`t let her name fool you – Tiny`s personality is anything but small! This adorable 3-year-old Husky mix weighs 66 pounds and possesses a truly big, cute, and even slightly sassy character. You`ll never be bored with this sweet girl. Tiny previously lived in a home with other dogs, cats, and children. She can get a little excitable around children, so we would recommend a home with older children for her. She`s a fan of toys and playtime, is reliably potty trained with a good routine, and already knows commands like `sit` and `shake.`Tiny is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccines. You can visit her at The Babinski Foundation in Pequot Lakes, Minnesota, Tuesdays through Saturdays from 8:30 to 5:00 PM or Sundays from 12:00 to 5:00 PM.
