Story
Jackson is a lively 15-week-old husky mix who is ready to play! Currently 21 pounds, he is expected to be a medium to large-sized dog. This smart, high-energy pup thrives on playtime and loves wrestling and running with his dog family in his foster home. Jackson is working on house-training, and he hasn’t attempted crate training in his current foster home. He’s very treat-motivated and adaptable, so training should be a breeze in his future home. Jackson also prefers not to sleep on a bed, which could make him a great fit for someone who doesn’t want their dog on furniture. He is vocal when he wants something, so a home without shared walls will be required (no apartments/townhomes). He enjoys being around other dogs and responds positively to them outside the home. However, Jackson has not yet met cats or children, so his behavior around them is unknown.Jackson requires regular exercise and he seems to enjoy chasing critters, so a fenced yard will be required for his safety. He would thrive in a home with an active family or other dogs to keep him company, as he doesn’t like to be lonely. If you’re looking for a playful and smart companion who will keep you on your toes (literally!), Jackson might just be the perfect match! If you are interested in this dog, fill out an application at this link to get the ball rolling - https://pethavenmn.org/adopt/adoptable-dogs/dog-adoption-application/The adoption fee is $550. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchip implant (including registration). Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional's recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal's history is often unknown. Due to post-adoption services provided, we prefer to adopt within a 150-mile radius of the Twin Cities. However, we will consider up to 250 miles if the foster agrees to travel requirements and staff approval.

Story
Avery is a 15-week-old husky mix who is as playful as he is affectionate. Currently weighing 28 pounds, Avery is expected to grow into a medium to large-sized dog. This smart, active pup loves playing in the yard with the other dogs in his foster home and thrives on being in the middle of the action. He also has a habit of “booping” his foster’s face when excited, a morning ritual that never fails to bring a smile. At night, he enjoys snuggling by your head and never misses a chance for kisses. Avery is almost house-trained, showing great promise with consistent effort. He hasn’t attempted crate training in his current foster hom, but his treat and food motivation make him very trainable, and his eager-to-please personality ensures he’s always ready to learn. While he prefers having someone home often or the companionship of another dog, he adjusts well with proper support. He hasn’t met cats or children yet, but he is overall friendly and adjusts well to new surroundings. Avery loves squeaky toys and spending time with people and other dogs. With a medium energy level, Avery enjoys daily walks and will benefit from an environment that offers both playtime and cuddles. While he currently has access to a fenced yard, he may do fine with a tie-out in the right home. If you’re looking for a loving, social puppy who’s ready to grow with you, Avery will be the perfect addition to your family! If you are interested in this dog, fill out an application at this link to get the ball rolling - https://pethavenmn.org/adopt/adoptable-dogs/dog-adoption-application/The adoption fee is $550. Story
If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please complete  an Adoption Request Form. This is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about our adoption process, please visit our Adoption Process page on our website at www.rescuecrew. Cindy is a doll. She doesn't let her one eye stop her, this girl would love to play with a dog friend all day!  Aside from playing with dog friends, she also loves a good cuddle with her people. She love a good lap nap! Her recall is great, Cindy listens well and has been living with a cat and infant and does great with them both. She is very cautious with the infant and makes sure to touch her gently with her paws when approached by the kid.  Cindy is not yet potty trained but is working on it. However, she is very pad trained inside. She has been sleeping in a kennel at night and does well with it. She does not cry and keeps her kennel dry and clean overnight.  Cindy is just a great little puppy - full of love and trust and eager to cozy into her new home. As a husky she will require lots of excerise and someone who is willing to help her get out her Husky energy as she grows.  Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.   The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. You can also access the necessary online forms here as well.  ##2253537##
