He loves to be outside, but he is also happy laying at feet while his foster mom works. He does really well the resident female dog and cats. His foster family has been calling him Gus Gus. He is going to need a fenced yard because he likes to explore and does like to try and get outside critters. He should also be supervised while outside because he tends to dig. Story
Location: Sioux Falls, SD Meet Daisy: A Gentle Soul in Need of a Loving Home Daisy, a beautiful white Husky mix, has a story that will touch your heart. Despite her stunning appearance, Daisy has faced severe abuse in her past, leaving her deeply scared and in need of a special kind of love and attention. Daisy's journey hasn't been easy. After being adopted and then returned due to behavioral issues (lack of socialization requiring more patience with training) she has found herself in search of a forever home once again. Daisy requires slow and careful introductions to other dogs, but she does fine around cats. Her biggest fear is humans, but despite this, she has shown no aggression towards people. Instead, she cowers and withdraws, making it clear that she needs someone who can gently push her out of her comfort zone and show her that not all humans are to be feared. Currently, Daisy is taking medication to help manage her anxiety. With the right environment, patience, and understanding, Daisy has the potential to thrive and transform into a loyal and loving companion. She needs a quiet, stable home where she can feel safe and gradually learn to trust again. If you have the heart and home to offer Daisy the second chance she deserves, please consider adopting this gentle soul. She may need some extra care, but the love you'll receive in return will be immeasurable. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Byron, MN Elf (we call him buddy) is an energetic teenage puppy looking for his forever home. He is fully potty and kennel trained. He uses a doggie door which allows him to play in fenced yard, loves to play ball and be outside. He has puppy energy and sometimes forgets how big he is so slow intros to smaller kids/dogs. He would do best in a home with a fenced in yard and another big dog to play with. He does love attention and to cuddle so would be fine as an only dog as well. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Location: Sioux Falls, SD Hi, I'm Mocha! We've never met but I already love you because I love EVERYONE- men, women, children- I love them all. I'm very smart and like learning new tricks. I am a bit of a Velcro dog- don't be surprised if I peek my head in the shower just to make sure you're still there. I want to play, but I'm more of a fan of "chase me than fetch. When I'm super excited, I like to try and talk- I guess that's the husky in me! I would love to be a lap dog but I'm a big girl. If you set boundaries with me, I do good at respecting the furniture and will only jump up when you call me. I am house trained - I have had zero accidents in my home. I chew my toys, but not the shoes. I take treats very gently. I love going on walks but get excited by small critters and other dogs/people. I do walk best in a harness. I'm told I have a prey drive toward smaller animals - cats, dogs, squirrels, bunnies. I am dog selective and need slow intros to other dogs. I would be ok with another dog in the home as long as they are my size or bigger and we've had proper introductions with plenty of supervised playtime. I do great in my kennel. I know it's time to relax when my foster tells me to go to my room. Once in my kennel, she always gives me a treat and I have no accidents while she's at work. As you can see, I'm gorgeous and I know it. I hate to brag, but my foster says I'm a very sweet, loving, smart, goofy, playful dog. I need a family that understands that I may never be a dog that can go to the dog park or socially hang out with other dogs due to my dog sensitivity. But I do promise to love you unconditionally and be the sweetest dog ever to my family. ----- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Cottage Grove, MN Hi, I'm Bulma! I'm the happiest and most affectionate young pup there is, just look at my big smile! If you look closely you will see I have a beauty mark in the shape of a heart on my forehead. This suits me because I am a big love bug! I'm loving home life and am most happy when I'm around my people. In my foster home there are two children, a dog and a cat. I love them all! I adore kids and get so excited to see them, I shower them with kisses.I sleep in my kennel at night and do not mind it, I also don't have accidents in the house as long as I'm on a consistent schedule. I am still a puppy but I'm past the nippy stage and I do not chew on things that I am not supposed to. I enjoy being outside and going for walks. As I mentioned earlier, I love people and want to be where you are. Doing the dishes? I'll lay on the floor next to you. Watching tv? I will cuddle with you. I just want to be close and in the mix! I'm still a puppy and am learning my manners, but my foster mom says I'm such a good boy and I'm very smart. I would love a family of my very own, I will do great just about anywhere. Please give me a chance and I promise you a lifetime of love and kisses! --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).
