Story
Hello my name is McIntosh, I’m from Minnesota! Meet McIntosh (Mac for short), the sweetest pup looking for his forever home! Mac is a playful, loving, and well-mannered young dog who is thriving in his foster home. He’s making great progress with crate training and house training and sleeps through the night in his kennel! He is even walking well on a leash. He’s food-motivated, which makes training a breeze—he’s a smart little guy who picks up on things quickly, especially when treats are involved! Mac is fantastic with kids and has a great balance of energy and affection. He loves to romp around with chew toys and play, but when it’s time to settle down, he’s also a top-tier snuggler. He enjoys playing with the resident dog in his foster home and has been curious and playful with cats so far. With proper introductions, he’d likely do well in a home with other pets. If you’re looking for a well-rounded companion—one who’s playful, affectionate, and eager to learn—Mac might be the perfect match for you. He’s ready to bring joy, fun, and cuddles to his new family. Could that be you?

Hello my name is Fuji, I’m from Minnesota! Fuji is just so stinking cute! Not only are his markings on his face but he has a very sweet demeanor. He seems to love all humans and does well with other dogs. He does seem to get excited around kids as well. Fuji passed the huskie test and when howled at, he howled too. Must be some huskie in his DNA! He dies like to sing as well when he thinks he is alone at first. So maybe shared walls would not be a good idea. Potty training is a work in progress.

Hello my name is Jonagold, I’m from Minnesota! Jonigold really does have a heart of gold. He's been very good with all humans, other dogs and kids. He has a playful personality and has started playing with a ball. He likes to chase it. He enjoys wrestling with his brother. If you ever wanted a live stuffed teddy bear, that is what he reminds me of. He's just so sweet and cuddly. We are just getting to know each other but he certainly has a great puppy demeanor. He is a pretty laid back little guy right now. He will make someone or some family a wonderful companion. He is just a puppy so training and potty skills are in the works yet. But he is most certainly, worth the effort!

Story
Griffey (as we call him) was displaced by the California wildfires and has been through quite the experience since January. He was initially in a LA shelter then flown to a rescue in Utah where he spent a month before a second flight to Iowa where a volunteer welcomed him into RAGOM’s care. You’d never know that Griffey has been through so much disruption given his happy and exuberant personality. Griffey has been with us about a month and here’s what we’ve learned so far. Griffey has many of the traits common to the Husky breed. He’s wicked smart, stubborn, affectionate, thrives with physical and mental exercise and is quite the looker. Like most Huskies, we say Griffey has two speeds-full speed and asleep. When it’s time to crash, Griffey loves, loves, loves to snuggle with his humans. He is currently residing with three other medium to large breed dogs and a cat. Griffey does great with our resident dogs but is overly interested in our cat so a home without a cat is required. We’ve been working on basic command training and so far, Griffey has mastered “sit”, “lie down” and respects “no” most of the time. Thankfully, he is treat-motivated which makes training a bit easier. As a Husky, Griffey is hard-wired to pull so leash training has been a big focus. He’s doing much better on-leash but still a work in progress. Griffey is not crate-trained. We have worked up to an hour in the crate a few times during the day. At night, however, he does sleep in our bed and doesn’t move or make a peep all night. He truly is a Class A snuggler. Speaking of peep, like most Huskies, Griffey does like to “talk”. He’s not a barker but does make a pretty adorable “woo woo woo” sound to let you know he’s happy, excited or to protest when he’s not interested in what you’re asking him to do. He does not react to the doorbell or other noises. During Griffey’s first few days in our home, he did attempt to mark. We worked on that behavior, and it resolved pretty quickly. He has not attempted to mark indoors in multiple weeks. We’ve also been taking him to visit our vet clinic, PetSmart and our trainer’s facility so he gets continued testing where there is lots of dog scent. He’s been a very good boy with no further marking. Finally, Griffey is very accepting of nail trims, baths and brushing. Griffey is ready to find a home of his very own. We think Griffey would do well in a home with or without another dog. As a working breed and high energy dog, Griffey would thrive in an active home, and one committed to providing him the physical AND mental exercise he needs to be happy and healthy. BTW, Griffey does enjoy a challenging food puzzle. Griffey also needs an adopter(s) who is committed to continuing his training through positive reinforcement and leadership. An owner with prior Husky or working dog experience would be a plus. And, if you need a buddy to hit the road with, Griffey’s the one! Always up for adventure, Griffey loves car rides with his human. He is the perfect gentleman in the car and usually curls up for a nap. Riding shotgun is his favorite, but he’ll settle for the back seat if you insist! What to learn more? Select the "Apply for Adoption" if you would like to adopt Hello my name is Cortland, I’m from Minnesota! Loves love. Loves to be with people! Will let you know when he's had too much petting by talking to you. Playful puppy! Loves playing with leaves. Almost completely potty trained. He will go to the door to let you know, but he can be sneaky sometimes so make sure you have a puppy pad down by the front door. He's still teething so teething toys and rope toys are his go-to. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.     *Estimated arrival in MN - March 2025* Zelda (1.5yo 45lb) is a teenage girl Husky who is looking for a foster home, but ultimately, her forever home! Zelda will need a home that understands the exercise, temperament, and singing that comes with a Husky. Because this breed is higher maintenance, we do not suggest Zelda as a single dog or for a first time owner.  Zelda is really energetic and loves to play! She's currently being fostered with a Catahoula mix 1.5yo, a bunch of smaller dogs around 2-6yo & under 30lb. She tries to play with everyone, but ends up finding her friend Saber to wrestle with. Zelda also LOVES that water! She fights with the water hose in typical Husky fashion, and would love swimming with her people. Zelda is a big fan of the game fetch, but doesn't quite understand the rules yet - you can throw it, but you can't take it! She really is a goofy gal.  Zelda is a strong young pup and is very opinionated and loves to think she is the boss. Zelda is still working on jumping, pulling on a leash, but shows a lot of potential. She loves toys, treats, people, dogs, and pretty much everything else!  Interested in fostering and/or adopting? Please complete an interest form on our website here. If you are viewing this listing on PETFINDER there is often MORE INFO ON and MORE PICS OF the animal DIRECTLY ON OUR WEBSITE. http://redemptionroadrescue.rescuegroups.org *Zelda's adoption fee is $595 + MN tax* redemptionroad.mn@gmail.com https://www.facebook.com/RedemptionRoadRescue   All animals fully vetted appropriate for age: spayed/neutered, rabies vaccine, DHPP vaccine, 4DX test (@12 months or older), microchipped with lifetime registration, dewormed, flea/tick prevention, heartworm prevention.  *Since we typically don't know a rescue dogs actual genetics, their breed and estimated size when grown on their bio is just an educated guess based on information and observations we have.*  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 6, 2025, 11:20 pm

Story
If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please complete  an Adoption Request Form. This is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about our adoption process, please visit our Adoption Process page on our website at www.rescuecrew.org.   Ralph is the sweetest shadow, always eager to be by your side—whether it’s following you from room to room or accompanying you on long walks. What he lacks in training, he more than makes up for with his friendly, curious nature and deep desire to please. His affectionate spirit shines through in the way he greets you every morning with gentle nose nudges (or enthusiastic chest compressions, if he can reach). His zoomies are legendary, capable of making you laugh so hard you stop making sound, and his habit of flopping into your lap for belly rubs, oblivious to his size, is one of the cutest things you’ll ever see. He only kind of knows his name, but he’s eager to learn and thrives with patience and kindness. Ralph does great in an apartment, as long as he gets out for long walks or playtime to burn off energy. He’s housebroken and respectful when left alone, though he may whine briefly before settling down. He doesn’t bark (except in his sleep) and rarely makes a sound—aside from the occasional dramatic sigh when ignored. If he knows he’s missing out on something exciting, he sometimes lets out the quietest, saddest little howls, just to make sure you know he wishes he was involved. He’s good with other dogs and all the people he’s met, though he does tend to jump on new visitors to check them out (hopefully neutering will help with that). He loves his food and favorite toys so much that he’ll sometimes lay on top of them to keep them safe. Because of this, very young children should be attended around him, and a family with older kids would likely be the best fit. Ralph truly adores people and would thrive either as a solo dog or in a multi-dog household, as long as he gets lots of human attention and toys are supervised. This boy is made for adventure—whether it's hiking, running alongside a bike, or carrying his own gear in a backpack. He’s a magnet for ticks (check that adorable white face regularly!), and he can be sneaky about eating things off the ground. His ideal home will give him plenty of exercise, patience with training, and, most importantly, all the love and cuddles he craves. Ralph is an incredibly special dog, ready to bring endless joy to the lucky person who welcomes him into their life. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.   The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. You can also access the necessary online forms here as well.  ##2316915##
