Story
Yuki  Siberian Husky mix Spayed female 5 years old, 40 pounds One blue eye, one hazel eye, and a heart of gold -- this sweet girl is ready to color your world with cuddles and play! Yuki is a medium-sized husky mix looking to reclaim the Good Life with someone who values second chances as much as she does. Found in a house abandoned by her owner, this beauty is stepping into act two of her journey like a queen!   From the Foster:  "Dear Yuki is gentle, sweet, and just loves attention. She has all the characteristics of a great pet. And those eyes -- truly an adorable companion!" Yuki likes to meet new people the way most dogs do, with a little caution. After all, she doesn’t know them yet! Proper introductions and respect for boundaries will help her feel safe and comfortable. Once she warms up, prepare for a lovefest and the opportunity to set some boundaries of your own. She currently jumps up when she’s excited to see someone (think: coming home after work or school). Makes sense, too, since her previous owner left one day and never returned. Now that she’s settling into stability, her true colors are shining through! So far, Yuki seems to get along well with other dogs, and she’s happily kennel trained. Plus, she’s making great strides with leash walking -- a testament to her adventurous spirit and how well she responds to care and consistency. Her reaction to cats, kids, or other critters is still unknown, and a fenced yard is required for daily breaks, fresh air and exercise. Look into Yuki’s eyes. If you’re feeling a  yes , we'd love for you to apply! Adoption form available at:   nebraskanokill.org. Suggested adoption donation:  $300.00 April 17, 2025, 12:40 pm

Story
Meet Thaddeus, our 7 year old Siberian Husky, with an eternal Babyface! If you are looking for an easy dog that is quiet and chill but enjoys a nice walk you have found your stunning boy! Thad is on the smallish side weighing in 55 pounds and is short in stature. Thaddeus's owner passed away and no one in the family could take him, so we happily stepped up for this wonderful boy. He initially was a bit shy at his foster, but has since warmed up nicely to new people. He is doing well with his manners and is enjoying life with his two furry foster siblings and older human human children. Thad also loves his stuffed ball that will come with him to a new home and boy does he loves to be outside so a fenced in yard would be ideal! Thaddeus enjoys curling up with people and other dogs and would do well as a single or pack dog!   He is on the quiet side and not your typical loud talkative husky except when playing. Thad is kennel trained and potty trained. He is just a well rounded easy guy that wants to brighten up your day. If you'd like to be the lucky recipient of seeing his babyface every day, please apply for Thaddeus at www.HavenAnimalRescueNebraska.org!  DONATION ADOPTION: $250 *ALL ANIMALS MUST BE ADOPTED AS INSIDE COMPANION ANIMALS ONLY. Story
Loves attention. Loves to run. Little wild. Is a really good dog. Just needs worked with. Knows some commands. I really don’t want to rehome him, as he is my baby, but he deserves the best and my small yard is not enough room for him to run. I would love updates and pictures on him.
