Story
Pickles is a courtesy post. Please fill out an application at rescueridge.com   and your information will be sent to his family who needs to rehome him. Monmouh County, NJ. Here is the information from his family:"Loves people of all ages and wants to be with you and play. He loves other dogs but not sure about cats so I say no cats. He is about 1 year old now. According to the vet, he’s a Mix. He’s Husky/Stafford Pit and perhaps Shepherd. Short hair dog. He would be great with other dogs so he can play. Knows "Sit" and "Paw." Needs room to run around. The only reason my sister needs to find him a home is because he jumps. My sister is on a cane and not sturdy. She has fallen and can no longer take chances that she will get hurt badly. He may need some training in that area. He does know some commands. He has been in a kennel but not in crate. He has gone to someone’s house who house sits about 6 dogs or so at a time. He loved it and the woman had no issues with him. He played all the time with the other dogs and even her two great Danes. I would say he’s high-energy type. He has a fear of cars, getting into a car, because he was dumped a few times by previous owner who did not take the time to be with him and dumped him on his ex who then did not want him either." Please apply to help this dog-friendly, sweet young pup find the right family to love him. Please text 732 546 8805 to let us know you applied and we will alert his owner. .Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 18, 2024, 11:57 pm

Story
Puma's Key Attributes: Loving, Adventurous, Silly, Outgoing Summary: Puma is a friendly, energetic, affectionate, and snuggly fella. He enjoys playing with toys and loves to play fetch. Puma thrives with regular exercise, including a daily park excursion with sniffing and exploring; he loves investigating the woods/streams/fields. Puma also likes to just lounge around in the yard and soak up the sun. Puma really enjoys being with his people, including laying in your lap like a cat, but he also does very well alone in his own room. He is currently living in a foster home and house-trained. Other Dogs: Puma loves other dogs and is a bit obnoxious at first due to his excitement. He will do best with slow, well-managed introductions with other dogs that handle his antics in a playful but stern manner. Once Puma relaxes a bit, he is an enjoyable walking buddy and playmate for other dogs. He would also do great as a solo-pup in the household. Self-Entertainment Activities Puma Enjoys: Food Puzzles, Chews/Bones, Squeaky Toys, Stuffies, Cardboard Boxes, Empty Plastic Bottles Background: Puma was found as a stray in Philadelphia in November 2023. His finders learned that was too enthusiastic about their cats, so he was taken to Philly ACCT. Puma was adopted for about a month, but the newborn baby in the home was allergic to him, so he was returned to ACCT in late December 2023. Puma was timestamped for euthanasia, so Northern Exposure Siberian Husky Rescue welcomed him into their foster-based rescue on 12/30/23. Story
Zane is a lovely almost 5 years old Siberian Husky. He loves treats and love to go on walks. Unfortunately, my son became allergic to Zane fur, and it breaks my heart to rehome him. We got Zane from an Amish town in PA when he was 8 weeks old. The new owner has to be experience with large dogs, not mind dog hair, have spare time to dedicate to Zane, be caring and loving.

Story
I’m Rarity, a 1-year-old Husky Mix weighing 44 pounds of puppy-like energy and manners. A vocal girl when feeling unsure, it’s best to build my trust with patience and kindness. When I’m comfy cozy; I’d love it if you let me have my zoomie moments as I’m still a growing young girl at heart who needs her exercise. A fun, silly, loyal lady I will be for sure! The Monmouth County SPCA is open for walk-ins every day, starting at noon!
