Story
Diego is about 3 years old, and this gorgeous, fluffy boy weighs 53 pounds (he looks bigger - but it's all fluff!). Diego has quickly won the hearts of the shelter staff, due to his agreeable, friendly personality. He also loves being brushed and bathed! Diego has a very thick coat, so he is loving the current wintry weather, and he enjoys running laps around our play yard. Diego must meet any resident dog(s) in a potential new home, to make sure they get along. * Diego has tested positive for Lyme disease and is currently being treated with antibiotics. * Diego qualifies for the shelter's Adult Companion Program, for adopters aged 50+

Story
Togo is a two and a half year old husky, he was adopted at 4 months old. Togo is a very good dog, he just needs some training and patience. He knows some basic commands and is crate trained. He however hasn’t spend much time free roaming a house so he would need extra training in that sense. Togo is vocal and love to sing the song of his people. He loves spending time outside as most husky’s do. He is good with other dogs once familiar but cats are questionable. He is great with kids too. Unfortunately financial and health situations have changed for my friend, the owner and they can no longer keep Togo. I just want him to go to a happy, loving home. I think he would do well in a family setting as well as a single person as long as he has space to run or is regularly walked, he is a runner like most husky’s as well.

Story
Hi, my name is Bubble, I am 10 months old. I am a curious puppy and I really want to explore the world and play all the time, but my human friends are very busy and their home is too tiny for a big guy like me who loves to run and play. One of my favorite activities is long walks(specially in the snow). If you are thinking about taking me home with you, you should know that I Will not hesitate to let you know if I do not agree with you and that I need a lot of toys and space to be a good boi, I need a friend who can play with me, because I get bored easily i am by myself, but by far the most thing you should know is that I need a family who can train me, some one that has the knowledge, patience and determination to bring out my full potential. I already know how to sit, shake your hand, speak, spin, lie down, and wait for my food, and I know how to go slow when I am taking a walk. For more details or questions asks my human friends.

Story
Crypt is a 7 year-old, 55 pound gentleman who came to us from a hoarding case with 27 other huskies. He’s a little nervous in the shelter, but that nervousness goes away when treats come out. He’s confident enough to try pickpocketing our volunteers for snacks if they aren’t paying attention while walking him. He walks well on a leash, and after coming from a home with so many other dogs is dog friendly. We think he’d do well in any home!

Story
Reaper came to us from a hoarding situation with 27 other huskies and weighs about 58 pounds. Coming from a hoarding situation, he’s a little nervous but has relaxed a lot after being with us for a few months and is showing himself to be an absolute sweety. He’s beginning to pick up on how playing works, and that people can offer him good cuddles (although he’s only comfortable with people he knows). So far he’ll accept treats politely from our volunteers and then set them on the ground. We think he’s read Hansel and Gretel a few too many times. Overall Reaper is a gentle and well behaved boy we think would do well in a house with respectful children who understand petting puppies with gentle hands

Story
Hi, my name is Tali. I am 7 years old. I am losing the only parents I have ever known & I am very sad. My parents are both in their early 80's. They both love me very much but due to health issues, neither is able to continue caring for me. I am looking for my forever family. I like other doggies but not sure about kitties. I would also do best without small children as I get startled by fast movements. I am funny, silly, & loving. I MUST go on my daily walks. Mom & Dad have not been able to walk me in a long time & I miss that. Plus, I have lots of energy & my walks help me get my energy out. I LOVE fresh fruit! My favorite is blueberries in my food. Someone who has experience with huskies would be an extra bonus. I am healthy, spayed, & up to date on vaccines. If you would like to make me a part of your family, please send an email to fanabalasanctuary@gmail.com.
