Story
Harry is a 3 yr old neutered male Alaskan Husky. He is house trained and crate trained. When not at home definitely needs to be crate trained. He's great with kids but was not raised with small children. He exhibits the "typical" husky traits, talkative, can be stubborn at times and goofy. Due to medical reasons I am unable to give him the life he deserves.

Story
Diamond is a 7 year old female Husky.Diamond is just a perfect girl who is waiting for her furever people to come around and give her that special connection she craves. She loves to go on long walks with lots of scents and she loves to give hugs. Diamond is always alert and cautious of her surroundings. Your safety and her safety are her top priorities. Although she is a little shy when you first meet her, she opens up if you offer her some peanut butter, so gently licking it off the spoon. Diamond knows how to walk very well on a leash and definitely knows her leash manners. Diamond would do fine in a home with certain dogs, and without cats or children. Story
Hi, my name is Dolly and I am a pretty Siberian Husky/Shepherd mix with one blue eye, about 3 years old, 42 lbs, and I was living in a little “den” underneath the side of a vacant house in San Antonio Texas with my litter of puppies. Nobody cared for weeks until freezing weather was upon us and when someone tried to save us all, I was too scared to go so they just took my puppies. I was heartbroken for days, crying and whimpering, sleeping outside in the freezing cold until a dog rescue earned my trust enough to catch me. Fast forward several months and I have been living in a foster home, finally able to put the past behind me and start having some fun again playing with the resident dogs. I am a happy and loving girl with lots of energy for any activity, running, hiking, or just playing in the yard with some doggy friends or my human pack. I make friends with everyone easily and I make a very nice doggy playmate and accept correction well from humans or dogs. I love all doggy toys, but the chew bones are my favorite. I’m very sweet and very affectionate, love being petted, and sharing doggy kisses. My foster mom says I would be amazing in agility training because I am fast and can run loops around the resident dogs during playtime. I LOVE going for walks and rides in the car. I'm fully housebroken and well-behaved. If you live anywhere on the East Coast and are looking for a canine companion who is exceptionally sweet and loyal with plenty of energy and enthusiasm for any activity, you’ve just hit the jackpot and found me. Inquire about me today and bring me home! * 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.

Story
Meet Venus! Venus is a beautiful 5 month old Husky/Vizsla mix. She has gorgeous hazel eyes and is currently 40 pounds. She has long legs so she will likely get bigger and taller and is a beautiful blend of the two breeds. She is even working on perfecting her little husky howl. Venus is super friendly with everyone she meets, man, woman, child or dog. She is full of fun and loves to play with her foster dog sisters! She has not met a toy she doesn't like and is a big fan of treats. She is very smart and responsive, which should make training pretty easy. Venus is already crate trained and sleeps through the night peacefully. She is almost potty trained and is giving signals when she needs to go out. Venus loves walks, toys, romping around the yard, and cuddling on the couch when it is naptime. She will be the perfect pup to add to your family! Venus is currently being fostered in Fanwood, NJ. Her adoption fee is $500. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.
