Story
Nala is a wonderful, loving sweet girl. Whoever she bonds with will be for life. She really needs an active home. We found her a year ago and have tried to make it work, but we can't give her the amount of exercise she needs. She has gotten into one fight with a neighbor dog, a small one and chases my cats around the house. She has been great with all children though. Occasionally nips. Does do the husky howl.

Good with dogs, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained,
Story
Fancy was found in KY, however, owner did not want her back. We picked her up to foster her but we have no medical history other than she had a litter of puppies. She is well cared for by us and her previous owner, but they spoke spanish and did not understand the rescuer when asked about vet visits. To the best of our knowledge she is healthy. Fancy needs a home that can provide her the fun she deserves. She does like to run around so a fenced yard or a doggy park would be good, or a good long walk. I believe Fancy would do well with kids but we don't have kids and there are no kids nearby our location.

Story
Skylar is a 2-year-old, 50lb brown Husky mix. Couldn't you just fall in love with those blue husky eyes? The eyes lure you in, but Skylar's sweetness makes you stay! She is a smart girl who already knows some commands and loves to play. Skylar does great with dogs her own size but isn't a fan of smaller dogs who are aggressive or dominating. She is completely housebroken, crate trained and fully vetted. Skylar also does great on a leash, but sometimes can pull if she gets excited. Since she's a strong girl, she'll need to be in a husky experienced household. If Skylar is the blue eyed beauty you've been looking for, please apply online at www.crisisdogsnc.org. Comprehensive details are provided in the dog's description. To ensure a smooth process, please submit a completed application through our website at: http://crisisdogsnc.org/dog-adoption/. Please note that questions via email or social media channels may not receive a response without a completed application. As part of our commitment to responsible adoption practices, we require excellent veterinarian references and conduct virtual home visits. Additionally, your prior or current dog must be on year-round heartworm prevention. We provide transportation by both land and air whenever feasible. All assessments regarding breed and age are conducted by licensed veterinarians. We look forward to assisting you in finding your perfect canine companion!December 10, 2024, 6:42 am
