Story
We took Duke in from our friends brother. Duke spent 23 out of 24 hours a day in a crate because the owner wasn’t allowed to have him in the house. He was terribly infested with fleas, so I couldn’t let him stay there. Unfortunately I just didn’t know what all was involved in taking care of a husky. He is a great dog. He loves people and other dogs! Our home is very small and he is rather large. He lives outside but we feel like he deserves a better home with more attention for him. He also needs a groomer to handle his coat that is not in the best shape. We can’t afford that and he strongly dislikes any touching on his backside. Other than that he’s not a hard dog. He’s stubborn by nature as that comes with the breed, but he would make any one that has the time for him so happy!

Story
Sky is a lab husky mix. She was found during a military training in an abandoned home with a couple of her siblings. My military son took her in but is active military and had to leave her with me. He is not able to take her back due to where he is stationed. Sky could make a great dog if trained. I already have 1 elderly dog and 2 cats. She tries to hunt my cats and should not be in a home with cats unless properly trained. She a little over a year old and still has a lot of puppy in her. She just wants to play. And chew. She is good with my little girl and has never had an accident in the house. She is also crate trained. She deserves more than I can give her. If you have time to train her, she just wants to be loved. She’s currently an outside dog and deserves to be inside. My heart breaks for this sweet girl.
