Our granddog Neve (Italian for Snow) is staying with us because our son moved to Italy. She is a very sweet dog but we both work full time and dont have a yard for her to play in. Would like having other dogs to play with also. She is a beautiful white husky.

This young man is looking for a home with space to continue helping him learn and grow- Loki is an approximately 1 year old Husky/Lab mix that is working toward hitting large dog status in size. Loki is a smart guy- learning many basics, fully potty trained and crate trained. Loki does well with other dogs and children- cats so far are an unknown. Loki's 60 day update from his foster: "Loves car rides, snuggling, wrestling Buster (Foster's personal dog), anything outside and he's game. Minds very well on and off leash. Does great with other dogs and kids, is fully up to date on vet care. He is definitely ready to find a new home and be best buds with a new family to spend all the time with." Loki is doing well outside having only a 4ft tall fence, but having a fenced yard for him is highly recommended. He is learning to mind his manners on and off leash- and hitting expert status! Loki is still a puppy, so getting into things, new person excitement, and chewing are not uncommon behaviors. His foster says the following on his overall demeanor "He likes to be right with me when inside. He likes to lick ALOT". Kyra is a 3 year old, guessed to be around 50 pound Husky/German Shephard mix. Kyra isn't getting along with the other dog in her home, so she is looking for a spot to be someone's possible "one and only". Kyra is potty, leash, and crate trained. Doesn't like dogs in her face/area and does like cats- but a bit too much. This beautiful girl loves to chew bones and cuddle. She is spayed and it is unsure if she is current on her shots. I received her from a friend when she was 3 months old. My friends husky had to big of a litter for them to keep all puppies. She is now 16 months old. She is a loving dog with a lot of energy that would be good for kids. She does well around other dogs and cats. Unfortunately I work a lot of hours every week, plus I am on night shift. I do not get much time to be with her. She deserves to be with a family that can devote more time to her. My schedule for the upcoming year is expected to have me working even more hours due to my recent job change. I will also have to do a decent amount of travel where I can not take a dog with me. My only regard is that she goes to a family that will take the time to play with her. She is already fixed and shots are up to date. If interested, I will give a cage and electronic training collar with her.

Timber was transferred in from a local dog warden. He is VERY shy at first with people but does warm up very well. He loves other young dogs and follows their lead to show him how great people can be! He is okay with kids but would do better in a home with ages 10+! I think he could adjust to younger, but would be better suited for a less chaotic home at this point in life. He is very playful and does need to be with other dogs. He could run for hours with his foster dog friends! He will require a fenced in yard due to fear of leash. This is also something we are working on. He is crate trained and does very well in it. He’s not as vocal as your typical husky! He is a very loving guy once you put some time and patience into him. He stays right by your side and loves to be close to you! Storm is an overall great dog, he loves being outside and will actually choose to be in a colder room/outside if he is given the choice. He is an escape artist so just be cautious, he will go explore but then come back home if he does get out. He’s very chill when inside and enjoys just chilling on the couch, he is a dog the respects other people’s space. No behavior issues since I’ve adopted him, he does bark at new people once or twice ( not a consistent barking) but if you tell him to stop he will. Loves walks!!! He could be a great outside dog. Unfortunately me and my partner are moving to a different state and we wouldn’t have our backyard space for him which is needed for his happiness. We want to just give home the best quality of life cause we are his second family.

Story

We got Winston from a husky breeder. He is 50% husky and 50% mountain cur. His parents are both 90 lbs so we expected him to be bigger but he is now 5 years old (6 in May) and he’s only 38 lbs. He is the most LOVABLE dog. He enjoys when people visit, loves to be pet, running outside, and playing fetch. Unfortunately though, he’s always been a little skiddish around doors, gates, boxes and likes to be pet a certain way. We have two young kids and one was standing at a baby gate with Winston and Winston got scared for whatever reason and bit our child. He didn’t break skin, but unfortunately our kids are now afraid of him. He would be an AMAZING dog for a home without kids, on a farm where he can run, or as a hunting dog. He really is a good boy and we don’t want to rehome him, but our kids come first. He is good with our other dog; but we are unsure about other animals.
