Story
Meet Akira, she is a 1-1/2 year old spayed female Akita (around 85 lb) looking for a new home. She is a wonderful dog that gets along well with both male boxers in my home. She has good manors and is a very quick learner. Walks very well with both of my other dogs and does very little leash pulling; only when she sees squirrels. Good bite inhibition and does well sharing toys with other dogs. Have not seen her interact with children but would not suggest her in a home with small children as she is a large working breed dog and can be easily excitable. She loves car rides and going places like parks; sits patiently in rear seat during rides. Unfortunately I'm going thru a divorce and will not be able to have three dogs in new living arrangement. Ideally she would do best in a home without children under 12 and with dogs of the same energy level or spoiled on her own. I do walk/run her 5-10 miles a day currently so she should be with an owner who is also very active or has a fenced yard.

Our granddog Neve (Italian for Snow) is staying with us because our son moved to Italy. She is a very sweet dog but we both work full time and dont have a yard for her to play in. Would like having other dogs to play with also. She is a beautiful white husky.
